Dont underestimate how powerful John McCains speech was as well.

No one listened to nor cares about McCain's speech.

McCain provided the fuel and lit the match (Gov. Palin).

The liberal media poured on the gas. (Attack, attack, attack)

And now:

“The times, they are a changin’”

How ironic.

And they still don’t get it! Sweet!

I agree this election doesn’t have anything to do about race, but WHEN he loses they will claim it does and then the political parties will be too afraid to nominate a black person in the future.

“Going down faster than the Titanic! Enjoy the ride down all you vile RAT/libs!”

Don’t take anything for granted. These people(Dem opposition) are very good and they will stop at nothing to destroy Palin.

Palin is a huge threat to the status quo, and we have to expect anything to be thrown against her and McCain.

Of course you are right....that is what they will claim.....which will give the GOP a great chance to shove that back down their throats the way we are doing to the Feminazis with SP

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/maps/obama_vs_mccain/

If you want some cool info at RCP, click on each state and check their latest polls. What you will find is several states haven’t been polled since April, or May..... so really...no one knows. It’s fun. Check Maryland. Check California. I think California poll numbers haven’t updated since Feb....

USA Today just posted the result about 3 hours ago. Here's the USA Today link that shows McCain/Palin with a 10 point lead over OBama/Bi[nLa]den: http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-09-07-poll_N.htm

For example, Michael Steele would be an excellent running mate in 16.

Biden will be gone within a week.

McCain virtually closed that door, when at the convention he was talking of Obama's flip flops, and told Biden to get the VP thing in writing.

If Biden were thrown under the bus, that alone would be enough material for McCain/Palin to berate Obama with until Nov.

It would validate every other exposed flip flop that Obama has had, and legitimately question anything else Obama claims.

Hillary was/is Obamas best chance. The only way he can bring Hillary in is for something to happen to Biden, or that he steps down for major reasons, allowing Dems to save face, and allowing Hillary to "graciously" enter.

If that were to happen, it would have to happen soon, in order to stop AND reverse the momentum McCain/Palin have gained.

After the VP debate, I'd say that Palin will make Biden look like an absolute idiot. After that even the most stalwart lib will know its over.

Not bad but this is better.

From Jake Tapper at ABC:

McCain Pulls Ahead in Gallup

September 07, 2008 9:41 PM

Not the daily tracking poll, the actual Gallup poll, has Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., pulling ahead of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.

The numbers among registered voters are 50 percent to 46 percent -- and 54 percent to 44 percent among likely voters.

Biden will be gone within a week.

Ol “Plugs” was the only one that would take to Veep nom. It was “his turn” for the honor of being nominated. No one else with any gravatos would touch this Titanic cause their internals went to hell after Sarahcuda.

Nobama may be gone in a week. You think their “smoke filled backroom boyz” have the power to call hitlery?

If BO has to campaign in MD or CA, not only will he lose in a landslide, but he will lose the house & senate for the dems. It may be wishful thinking, but that IS “Change” to want to believe in!

The real question is will Sarah have skirt tails. I think she should be out there campaigning for republicans in tight races and senators too. She appears to have the ability to turn the tables in those very tight races, especially one that were won by fraudulent dem candidates in 2006. It would be great to give Pelosi the farewell finger.
