MSNBC tried a bold experiment this year by putting two politically incendiary hosts, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, in the anchor chair to lead the cable news channels coverage of the election.
That experiment appears to be over.
After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent network NBC, the channel decided over the weekend that the NBC News correspondent and MSNBC host David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night. Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage.
The change which comes in the home stretch of the long election cycle is a direct result of tensions associated with the channels perceived shift to the political left.
The most disappointing shift is to see the partisan attitude move from prime time into whats supposed to be straight news programming, said Davidson Goldin, formerly the editorial director of MSNBC and a co-founder of the reputation management firm DolceGoldin.

Memo to Olbermann and Matthews:
Don’t tangle with Buchanan.
Hmmm. They all look like....
Fissures of men.
Spot on, Jeff!

It couldn’t happen to two more deserving men.

When these two monkeys are fired then I’ll celebrate.
Grabbed ‘em, thanx
No, no, no!!!!!!!! It’s warm wet urine going down his leg. I don’t watch network propaganda all that much. But I’m not sure Gregory is any better than the other two. I suspect it won’t be long before he too—like Chrissy— goes off the deep end. These people cannot entertain the possibility that people can rationally and sanely have ideas differing from them. NBC can throw in substitutes until the next ice age, but they will all be leftist shills. There are no legitimate journalists on their payrolls anymore. Personally, I think Chrissy and Oberman will feel even freer to be berserk as they will no longer wear the patina of responsibility that used to go along with occupying an anchor’s chair.
