Hehe...good point.
Although now that I live in Ravens country (and Redskins to a degree) it’s harder being a Browns fan.
They will be ably represented by the debate moderator, Gwen Ifil of NPR.
True, but don't forget to roll up your sleeves and do something for good guys like Pete Wilson, who's running to retake Delay's old seat! That seat is by all rights REPUBLICAN!!!
I call this a nice start. McCain needs to shift gears, this election is about the economy. He needs to drill home that this down turn is due to in large part to energy prices trickling down to all facets of the economy.
Had the RATS not fought Bush from day one on Energy, we would be a lot better off. Drill Here, Drill Now along with Nuclear, Coal, Wind and whatever..............
And, being a CUBS fan, this promises to be a nail biting Fall for me.
I can't wait. Let the games begin!
"Do I believe that the majority of voters want to see a McLame/Failin presidency? Nope, I sure don't. But, if you're going to steal an election, the first thing you have to do is make it APPEAR close".
"My advice - invest in guns and ammo. Electing these two might finally get us out from infront of our computers and into the streets."
"Wake up folks. We gotta get the message out. Mobilize our friends in the media. Obama get back on message, please."
"our friends in the media" uh, we're Democrats. We don't have any.

USAToday does not allow it..
Sigh... Every election, people trot out this "complacency" meme, but that's just not how human nature works. Bin Laden got this one right: "People back the strong horse." Which team sells more merchandise and packs more fans into the stadium: the one people expect to win, or the one people expect to lose? Which team plays harder?
The fact is, most people do not sign onto losing efforts. Few people will volunteer for a candidate that they think is going to lose, but they'll happily hop onto the coattails of a winner. Texas' electoral votes are a foregone conclusion, but you'll see a damn sight more yard signs for McCain in Texas than you will in a battleground state. Conversely, you can't swing a dead voter here in the People's Democratic Republic of Seattle without hitting an Obama bumper sticker, but I guarantee you that's not because they're nervous about whether The One will carry Washington.
There is a reason the media bias their polls toward Democrats. There is a reason why the media and the Obama campaign (yeah, I know, I'm stuttering) pushed Obamamania. For that matter, there's a reason why the McCain campaign worked so hard to mock Obama and burst that celebrity bubble. Believe me, it's not because they thought "overconfidence" or "complacency" were going to hurt the Democrats.
Now, if there are any McCain staffers who are overconfident or complacent, then sure, that's bad, but Steve Schmidt's clearly too smart for that. The rest of us need to just shut up and soldier, and enthusiasm and, yes, confidence does nothing but help that.
So be confident: We're going to win. Now go out there and be part of that winning effort... not because we'll lose if you don't, but because being on the winning team is fun.
McCain/Palin cant let up. They need to keep hammering on offense. And increase their numbers on the economy issues.
We got the Obama camp playing defense trying to shore up blue states like PA. The only red state they are pounding hard in right now is Ohio.
They’ve abandoned their “50-state campaign” idea.
Yes, I'm serious.
“He is going on Letterman this week. Bet he already has the questions...”
He’s so stupid that he could have the questions and still look like an idiot because he... well... he IS an idiot.
“Visit all 57 states”
“Nittaly Lions”
“Wasilly, Alaska”
“Commander OF Chief”
Every time he talks he says something stupid.
Agreed. We need to keep pounding on the Messiah so hard that we might be able to salvage some Congressional races. Also, if Obama gets a smack down in November, he might not ever think of running for President again
I smell blood in the water. Another couple of good weeks in a row and McCain could be headed for a decisive win.
I thought I was the only one with that kind of fear....
If the bounce keeps McCain in the lead, Obama’s last big hope is going to be the debates. McCain needs to do well in that first one to solidify the lead.
I know Bush lost 2 or 3 debates to Kerry. But Obama is a stronger candidate than Kerry.
And McCain is more skilled at debating than Bush.
The visceral hatred we saw for President Bush from the left, is going to be multiplied many times that since the race factor was introduced like in this election.
I place a lot of faith in their abilities, I truly pray they have ascertained that factor, and all it's ugly wrath...
WooHoo!...Lol!...Mercy! Mercy! We better buckle down the hatches, ‘cause they’re gonna be loaded for bear now!!!
