Barry Obama has slipped on his own faith by saying "John McCain has not... talked about... My muslim faith"

Of which Stephanopolous carried the water and corrected him by saying "Christian faith".

I think this is a VERY telling freudian slip by Barrack.

LOL. I saw that piece on Stephanopolis’ show a while ago. It was funny. I don’t think it is “huge” as some here are saying. I also thought Tom Ridge’s freudian slip saying “John Bush” when referring to McCain the other nite was funny.
Don’t put too much into anyone’s verbal slips. We have momentum on our side now. We are on the offensive, and being successful. Keep your eyes on the prize. Don’t get sidetracked down these fun, but silly rabbit trails.

Slips ups happen to everyone. In some other context, this may well have been damming. If he says, "I'm a proud muslim, er, Christian, then we have a legitimate firestorm. As I said in my other, later post, it will serve as good insulation from McCain/Palin slips, but it is hardly a smoking gun.

IMO, Nobama and his wife have been doing this for a great number of years.

I agree with you, but I don't care if it's a gaffe or not. This MUST get out there to the undecideds and independent voters who will most likely determine the winner of this race. Zerobama's "bitter clingers" in the swing states aren't gonna like this "gaffe".

It MUST get out there... whatever it takes to get McCain/Palin into the White House. You just KNOW if the situation was in reverse the 'RATs would use it against us...

Stephanopoulos had to correct Obama by saying “Christian” after Obama had called himself a muslim and BO looked at him like he didn’t understand what he was talking about.

I just went back and checked and yeah there is an interesting arch in his eyebrows and looks almost confused when he gets "corrected"
