In an a never-aired interview just uncovered by the election integrity advocacy group Velevet Revolution, lifelong Republican and data security expert Stephen Spoonamore openly accuses Diebold (now called Premier Election Systems) of propogating insecure electronic voting systems that he believes were knowingly used to "electronically steal" the 2004 election. According to Spoonamore, "the 2004 elections were electronically stolen. The hanging chad incident was just a distraction." The interview is wonkish in the extreme, but still worth checking out:
I do not believe George Bush won. I believe Kerry won, and I'm a member of the GOP. But I want to make it clear: we need to live in a place where your election is actually reflected in the vote.Coming from a man, who up until recently in any case, has been a prominent McCain supporter, this is quite a bold statement indeed, and a spur to vigilance for the upcoming elections. The interview gets a nice write-up today by Progressive States Network, along with links to a handful of useful sources on clean and fair elections.
They already made that movie, staring Robin Williams.
Right...
I don’t believe this for a second.
This is nothing but pre-justification for riots coast to coast when Obama-bin-Biden goes down in flames on November 4th.
Diebold (now called Premier Election Systems)
Hey, Spoonamore.
What are the SPECIFIC charges? You know, who, what, where, when, why, and how?
Basic journalism 101.
Nobody wants clean and fair elections more than I do.
Let’s start by assuring that students and homeless are not bussed from precinct to precinct to vote multiple times.
Let’s continue by assuring that voter IDs are checked and that the dead are removed from registration lists.
Let’s assure that those on voter lists are U.S. citizens.
Let’s forbid entry into nursing homes, prisons, and insane asylums by Democrat operatives “helping” the inmates therein to “vote”.
Sound fair enough to you?
Hookay...so if Dems don’t trust Diebold, then they won’t mind sending me their ATM and credit cards.
We got these monstrosities because of hanging chads and Florida morons in 2000. Four years is about three generations in computers these days. That means a lot of writing and rewriting code. It seems to me most code geeks are Democrats or Libertarians; while I prefer the paper punch ballot and can see many security problems with the computerized machines, I call BS.
I do agree with him regarding optical scan systems, they have the most effective audit trail.
His “belief” that Kerry won is just that, HIS belief.
We’re trying to create a meme that no Republican victory is ever legitimate, aren’t we? ;)
A strategy to get the people ready for fraud accusations when they lose in Nov.
But when 100% of registered voters actually vote and vote for the demonrat, no problem.
The belief that Kerry won the 2004 election is just about as rational as believing that Carthage won the Punic Wars.
Oh, and when they recount the votes until they get a demonrat win, no problem there either.
love the term “lifelong republican” I am so sure this moonbat has voted Republican all his life.
If he were a Republican at all, he would not need the ridiculous qualifier.

Lets put ACORN members in jail for FRAUD.
So... Now they want the hanging chads back?
There’s always some excuse from the loony left for why Republicans win again and again and again... With Eisenhower it was that Stevenson was ‘too intellectual’ for the common man, with Nixon it was the ‘Silent Majority’ who ruined their fun. With Reagan it was those nasty ‘Reagan Democrats’ and with Bush it’s the mantra that ‘both elections were stolen’.
George Bush got roughly 112,500,000 votes over two terms... More than any President in the history of the United States.
Clinton, for instance, received roughly 92,300,000 votes, or 20,200,000 less votes than Bush. Even Reagan received 6 million more votes than the Pervert-in-Chief with roughly 98,300,000 in total.
There is a myth in American politics which states that there are more Democrats than Republican voters, so supposedly the Democrats always have an advantage. Well, there may be more registered Democrats in America, but they sure don’t vote Democrat.
Since World War II the Democrats have won only 5 Presidential elections and they only garnered 50% of the vote in 2 of those elections... Johnson in 1964 and Carter (just barely) in 1976.
So if America is so pro-Democrat, why have the Democrats lost 9 Presidential elections since WW II, and in 7 of those elections the Republicans have won with more than 50% of the electorate voting for them?
You have to hand to the MSM though, they’ve done a very good job of creating an illusion that just doesn’t stand up to the facts.
Americans are more Pro-Republican than Pro-Democrat, and history proves it.
