In 1996, Biden sold a home in Greenville for the asking price of $1.2 million -- more than six times what he paid two decades earlier -- to John R. Cochran III, a top executive at the MBNA credit card bank that was a longtime political benefactor.

Using profits from that sale, Biden paid $350,000 cash to real estate executive and developer Keith D. Stoltz for 4.2 vacant acres -- a long, narrow lot a few miles from Biden's old home. Stoltz had bought that same lot five years earlier for the same price.

Stephen Pyle, who sold the land to Stoltz in 1991, said he was surprised that Stoltz, who lived on a neighboring estate, did not make any profit selling to Biden. "That doesn't sound like Keith Stoltz," Pyle, an artist who now lives in Texas, said of Stoltz, whose company recently proposed a $525 million project at nearby Barley Mill Plaza, a former DuPont Co. office campus.

A few months after Obama became a U.S. senator, he and Rezko's wife, Rita, bought adjacent pieces of property from a doctor in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood -- a deal that has dogged Obama the last two years. The doctor sold the mansion to Obama for $1.65 million -- $300,000 below the asking price. Rezko's wife paid full price -- $625,000 -- for the adjacent vacant lot. The deals closed in June 2005. Six months later, Obama paid Rezko's wife $104,500 for a strip of her land, so he could have a bigger yard. At the time, it had been widely reported that Tony Rezko was under federal investigation. Questioned later about the timing of the Rezko deal, Obama called it "boneheaded" because people might think the Rezkos had done him a favor.

Democrats start off as penniless grifters and end up as multimillionaires. Think of the Clintons who now have $150 million in assets from zero, without ever holding a real job between them.

The key is in disquising the endless bribes as “speaking fees” “book deals” for books that lose money, sudden investment “insights” such as the notorious Clinton cattle futures, or just cold cash in the freezer.

I hope this story won’t have legs. I want Biden to remain Obama’s VP candidate. If this gets ugly and blows up, it could possibly give Hillary an opportunity to replace Biden. I like our chances against the current two hacks.

MNBA is Biden’s biggest contributer, his son works for MNBA and MNBA top executives are lining his pocket. Yet Joe “the liar and plagarist” Biden states that he has “NEVER” met with a lobbyist.

The press is a filthy bag of manhattan elitists. They could care less about truth, honesty and real news.

Exactly !! I am a conservative but both parties are corrupt as hell. We deserve better in America. WE don’t know a lot about Palin, but seems like a huge breath of fresh air. See how long that lasts.

This is same old same old Geraldine Ferraro school of graft.

Ferraro bought some real estate from a political supporter and sold it 5 months later to another supporter for a 80k profit. In 1983, 80k was a lot of money, like about 500k in today’s money.

Odd.

On May 15, 1996, Senator Biden signed a letter as part of his Public Finance Disclosure Forms certifying his house was worth something less than $1,000,000.00:

“”However, it is my Good Faith Estimate that the equity in which had in my personal residence during 1995 was between $500,001 and $1,000,000.”

Well, someone needs to do an investigation.

As a RE broker dealing in creative real estate for over three decades and one who taught RE law at the college level for 10 years, I feel an obligation to investigate this. Who wants to help? I would like to see title company records, listing records, and other appropriate info. This might make a nice YouTube.

For those who didn’t see the story, I made a lowball offer to buy Justice Souter’s property and threatened to try to get the small town to condemn it if he didn’t take my offer.

I honestly don’t think Hillary will make that big of a swing on Bambi’s ticket at this point. For every voter it gains (18 million nationwide) it would turn off another.

Watching the political death of Hillary has been like going to a funeral. Everyone seems to remember the “good” and overlook the bad. She still has amazingly high negatives.

With that said, she would have been a much better pick than Biden but to ask for a do-over at this point would be the final nail.

I wouldn’t waste my time if I were you.
Obama will be D.O.A. on 11/4.

And if the folks in DE want to do some investigating, let ‘em...we’ve got enough problems with our own clowns in Sacramento...I’m kind of looking forward to another recall, myself...maybe there is another “Sarah Palin” in CA somewhere...well, we can hope & dream, can’t we? LOL
