Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is offering to go one-on-one with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on the basketball court, but says he’ll leave the other kind of shooting – with an actual gun – to her.

In an interview taped for ABC’s “This Week,” host George Stephanopoulos read a question from a viewer in Union City, Pa.: "Would you go one-on-one with Sarah Palin?"

Encouraging Obama to play along, Stephanopoulos threw out her nickname as a high-school basketball player – Sarah Barracuda.

“You know, I would play her a game of horse,” Obama said. “She looks like she's got some game. She plays high — you know, I know she's a sharpshooter. …

“I probably wouldn't do target practice with her. I think she'd be a better shot than me. But on the basketball court, I think I'd stand up pretty well.”

“We would break all Nielsen records,” Stephanopoulos says with a smile.

“Oh, I'm sure that's true,” Obama replied. “There's no doubt.”

Obama is extremely immature. He would try to beat a GIRL on a basketball court, but he won’t try to beat her in a debate - which is what I suspect the questioner wanted. In addition, Obama’s 7th grade remark reminds me of Omar challenging President Bush to a dual when he knew in his heart we were coming for his sorry butt and was terrified.
