Oprah has the right to refuse to interview Sarah Palin on her show,but we have the right to not buy what she is selling. Here is a list of Oprah's sponsors I will not patronize and products I will not buy. I will also be making some phone calls to these sponsors as well.

We should focus on Dove. Oprah is involved in the Campaign for Beauty with Dove and I bet they’d be very disturbed to hear about how unhappy the women of America are that Oprah has decided to disrespect them by refusing to honor the woman who may become the first female vice president of the United States. They have a huge anti-aging line that women in the demographics who watch Oprah would be inclined to purchase.

I used to watch Phil Donahue. For years I watched Phil Donahue.(I’m originally from Ohio and he’s a local Dayton guy). Then one day in 1989 he had on some guys from NAMBLA. That stands for North American Man-Boy Love Association. My then 2 year old son was sick with the flu that day so we were on the sofa together. I saw these men admitting what they were up to and was asking ‘where are the cops to arrest these men?’. I never tuned into Phil Donahue again. That show also featured some of the younger men whom these guys had made relationships with and I came close to retching. No more Phil Donahue ever! The Loony Left thinks anything goes. Not me.

What’s up with that? I asked a question? Yes, I am capable of Googling; but try to stay as far away from the New Age priestess as much as possible. For the record, I gave it a cursory Google, but figured it would be quicker asking the Freepers.

I have a PhD friend who has been her guest ,as a professional, a few times. She said that Oprah doesn't meet her guests until the camera is rolling. More spontaneous, you know. My highly intelligent friend says that Oprah doesn't come across as very intelligent. She has had some breaks and also some good advisers. I stopped watching Oprah when she had Johnnie Cochran on after the first OJ verdict. She was fawning all over Cochran. I have only seen her twice since then and only to watch friends who were on the show.

Oprah tried to get Palin scheduled for her show, right after the VP annoucement by McCain.

She was told no. Sarah said that her priorities were to help McCain get elected, and that an appearance on Oprah would be more of an ‘ego’ thing. Sarah did leave open the option that ‘after’ the election, she might have time to appear.

So, her staff decided to counter it by claiming ‘they’ haven’t asked her on their show, and won’t till after the election.

Possible? Only Oprah knows.

Sarah is a Siren. The more national exposure she gets, the more likely people will support her. There’s a reason why she has 80%+ approval ratings in Alaska. There’s a reason why the left wanted to totally destroy her and force her to withdraw before she could say a single word.
