What Hillary Should Say Now (Patti Davis doesn't like Palin)
newsweek.com ^ | September 5, 2008 | Patti Davis

Dear Hillary, Where are you? We haven't heard from you since your strong and eloquent speech at the Democratic National Convention. You might be taking a well-deserved vacation--certainly you must need one after all those arduous months campaigning. But we need to hear from you right now. We need your voice to speak for all the women (and there are many of us) who are angry at the assumption that, just because Sarah Palin is female, we will fall in line behind her. We need you to make clear that women do not automatically judge someone because of gender; we are more concerned with the quality of their character and the depth and breadth of their experience.

We do not see rudeness and snarkiness and sarcasm as admirable; in fact, most women teach their children not to treat others in that manner, and they tend to steer clear of adults who never learned that lesson.

What a load of crap. Dems really need to believe they are better than everybody else.

Someone needs to inform her that Hillary is praying for an Obama loss just as much as we Freepers are.

If you were dumb enough to follow Hillary in the first place, you probably lack the brains to follow Palin now.

“..who are angry at the assumption that, just because Sarah Palin is female, we will fall in line behind her..”

Whose assumption?

Certainly not that of the McCain campaign.

It appears Patti got her memo from the boys at Camp Obama and just forwarded it on to Newsweak after signing her name to it. She is going to make a very obedient, burqa wearing female for someone someday.

Hey PD, nobody wants YOUR vote. Sarah Palin was picked for conservatives, not for bitter, angry, and jealous women like you.

No one made any such assumption. Gov. Palin is a marvelous PERSON, Patti, that's why she's on this ticket.

How come black folk aren’t idignant over the expectation that they’ll fall in line behind Obama? It’s not because they are excited about righting historical injustices. Women were second-class before there was such a thing as a black person.

I just love the way people miss the point that just because Sarah is female we should or should not fall behind her.

We are behind her because she is a leader, dummies.

Uh, after all these years, Patti Davis doesn't understand the Clintons?

Patti, let me 'splain somethin' to ya.

The Clintons *always slither back under their rock after a big loss*. It's what they do. They don't want to be associated with the loss.

Don't worry, dear. The will come back out, when the time is right.

They will hold their noses and endorse messiah, because they know he will be easier to beat in 2012.

Got it, dear?

Where is Hilde in the fembots hour of need? Why, she is in the same place Obama was when he RAN OFFSTAGE during that “joint fundraiser” with Hilde, Obamao “forgot” to mention that his donors should donate to retire Hilde’s Campaign Debt.

So Obamao swipes the nomination from Hilde, then tries to sweep up her donors, then doesn’t try to help Hilde retire her debt, and she is the Obamao’s “Great Saviour”?

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were concerned with "quality of character", then you'd never support Hillary. The libs are positively astonishing in their ability to be shallow.

What a condescending bit of elitist hogwash.

ATTENTION PATTI- CONSERVATIVE WOMEN HAVE BRAINS. EVIDENTALLY MORE THAN LIBERAL COMMENTATORS SUCH AS YOURSELF. THIS WOMAN IS VOTING FOR PALIN BECAUSE SHE IS THE BEST PERSON FOR THE JOB. PERIOD.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled desecration of your father’s memory.

Hillary is going to give the Dims “lip service”, but behind the scenes, she is doing whatever is necessary to put Obama down the toilet.

Dear Person Davis,

You libs really do think quite a lot of yourselves, and you need to get over it.

Palin wasn't picked for you. Palin was picked for me and my wife: solid conservatives skeptical of John McCain. If, just by accident, she happens to get some low-hanging fruit among Dems who aren't totally committed abortionists, that's gravy.

We're not that into you.

As for Hillary, don't make me laugh. She's got other commitments, and that's no accident. She's building alliances for 2012. She couldn't care less what happens to Barack Obama. Given all the fund-raising she did for down ticket candidates in order to get their support for 2008, she feels abandoned and betrayed.

So, Hillary's not that into you either.

Imagine. Hillary and solid conservatives both agreeing that you're worthless. Ironic. Cool.
