Could be. One seems to be a photographer, and I think the AP just assumed he was one of theirs rather than a fan. So they didn’t count him, probably.

I may not agree with everything he says, but he has my eternal gratitude for choosing Governor Palin.

I watched a live video feed of the Colorado Springs event. McCain and Palin looked genuinely astonished at the size of the turnout and commented upon it. Sarah Palin said "Wow" 3 or 4 times.

Thank you for the photos. I so wanted to go...me and my pregnant teenage daughter! Unfortunately they had no more tickets; we were disappointed but it is comforting to see the turnout...that is astounding!

and America first I agree.

Friday at Cedarburg, WI there was a large crowd (20,000+) but AP reported 1,000
I was there - 1000! That’s nuts! We had to walk 1/2 a mile to get to the end of the line going to security. We didn’t even get close to getting in to a venue planned for 8000. There were probably 3-400 just on the corner that we got barricaded into where the campaign bus was egressing.
Do you have a link to that 1000 number?

This is proof positive that we all better get down to our state McCain offices and get on the list so that we know when the tickets are available.
I was at a Laura Bush event in 2004 and I thought the crowd was huge. Standing room only. Nothing like this though.

She’s supposed to appear in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area on Sept 18th. No details yet as to where. I’m going to try to make it.

GOD chose Governor Palin for the VP slot. McCain was just the vessel that He used. Does that make McCain a christian pope ?
To: staytrue
Does that make McCain a christian pope ? Nope. God uses all of us sinners to His good purpose.
