Sarah Palin killed. And more than killed.
Much has been said about her speech, but a few points. "The difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Lipstick" is pure American and goes straight into Bartlett's. This is the authentic sound of the American mama, of every mother you know at school who joins the board, reads the books, heads the committee, and gets the show on the road. These women make large portions of America work.

The Left-Wing crazy women on PBS were hysterical with rage over the use of “A Servant’s Heart”, claiming it was code for something racist. Like Peggy they know nothing about the Bible
Someone running for office is a distraction?! I have laughed so much today..............................desperate libs are FUNNY!
:-)
Emily's List is a hard core abortion supporting interest group. They are dedicated to finding and supporting women politicians, but on the condition that these women are pro-abortion.
The Donk is obviously trying to say that Emily's List is a fair representation of all women, and that it is not a partisan abortion-supporting outfit. Nothing could be further from the truth. For Sarah Palin to score 45% on Emily's List is quite an achievement.
While we liked McCain's ad about 0bama’s celebrity standing with the left...it didn't quite hit the mark.
Sarah took the first rule of combat to objectify your opponent. 0bama effectively made the object and not the bigger than life personality could be dealt the blows Sarah needed to deliver.
"This campaign is about to become: epic.

"John McCain also made a speech. It was flat."
Noonan is wrong about McCain's speech. It may have seemed 'flat' after the flamethrower of the night before, but his authenticity as one who "hates" war and will do everything in his power to protect America and keep the peace touched even his critics.
Obama, on the other hand, has no such authenticity on the subject of protecting America, only long connections to a new and unproven Far Left wing of the Party he represents.
Republicans better hope that Noonan is right: that this will be where the Democrats turn.
EXCELLENT point!
I think Noonan is flummoxed by grass roots conservatism. She is jealous of Palin perhaps. I used to like Noonan, but I think you are correct. Her aging ego needs the medicine of approval.
What a bizarre article. If Sarah Palin is so normal, what is making her stand out as no one in the last 60 years has stood out? How does "normal" excite the conservative base so much?
Sarah Palin in extraordinary. She is energetic. She is courageous. She is grounded in truth.
“...These women make large portions of America work...”
And that describes the millions of men and women who volunteer their time and talent every week, some every day, across this country in church programs, community programs and political organizations. They serve without any expectation of reward. But it sure is nice to say “Thanks for serving,” to them every once in a while. These are the ones who have a servant’s heart. It’s become the misfortune for We the Peoples to see our elected officials forget this when they go off to congress and come back filthy rich for re-election. They sure lose their servant’s heart real quick, and with it any integrity they may have once had when they were running for office the first time.
Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air who reminds us of what’s really important. No wonder Obama is worried. She’s getting a more favorable response than he is and she’s not even running for president.

I am apparently confusing Emily's List with some other "list". Who collects consumer comments on home repairs and services?
ROFLMAO!!! Oh, so EMILY’s list finds 55% opposed, what a shock!! I’m only surprised that they are not claiming it’s at least 75%...... I’m sure they can get better at their push-polling!!
Just when I thought I couldn’t be more disgusted...

There are a lot of phrases Christians tend to use that secular people do not. One is “a servant’s heart”.
Another is that secular people tend to say they are fortunate, while Christians tend to say they are blessed.
Christians will also use the word “fruit” in relation to deeds or works. Secular people use it almost exclusively as a food, or a slur against gays. The misinterpretation by the MSM of that one has led to a few dustups.
A fund/group to get PRO-ABORTION HARPIES womyn into politics.
If Palin is getting 40% of THEIR votes, we may have a 50-state landslide.
Cheers!
Wow. Only 55% willing to say they’re against Palin on a Pro-abort PAC site (Emily’s List).
So the other 45% of radical leftist respondents are either for her or neutral? That’s really amazing.
Closest I can think of is the words of Jesus in Matthew 23, speaking to His disciples:
9: And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10: Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11: But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Poor Peggy—she got caught in a snobbish remark last week. Maybe she learned something, and I hope it was more than to make sure the mike is off.
If a poll on Emily’s List only shows 55% of their harridans are opposed to Palin, then Arugula Boy is in serious trouble.
