With both Rasmussen and Gallup showing Barack Obama moving backwards even before the Republican Convention dropped its balloons on Andrea Mitchell, one can excuse the Democratic nominee for hearing footsteps. How desperate has he gotten? Looks like he’s playing the race card once again:
“And I know that the temptation is to say, ‘You know what? …The guy hasn’t been there that long in Washington.,’ You know, ‘he’s got funny name,’ You know, ‘we’re not sure about him,’” Obama continued. “And that’s what the Republicans, when they say, ‘This isn’t about issues, it’s about personalities,’ what they’re really saying is, ‘We’re going to try to scare people about Barack. So we’re going to say that you know, maybe he’s got Muslim connections or we’re going to say that, you know, he hangs out with radicals or he’s not patriotic.’ “I know that I’m not your typical presidential candidate,” Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., told executives and employees of the Schott glass company Friday afternoon, “and I just want to be honest with you. I know that.”

Barrack has slipped by so far (for the most part) by playing the race card card. He doesn’t say that Republicans are racists so much as he says the Republicans are playing the race card (which they are bending over backwards not to do). Why does Obama get away with being the only one who can make his race an issue?

It the part where he says "you know" that bothers me the most. It hate it when people (like Hillary) say "you know" over and over again.

It is really not the color of his skin that folks are concerned about; it is the content of his character. The more they learn the more uncomfortable they are. There is no question that Obama is personable, good-looking, an excellent speaker, but he lacks substance, or as the Democrats recently put it for another candidate at another time, he lacks gravitas.
Obama plays it every time he feels the pressure.
Wrong We are not going to say “he hangs out with radicals or he’s not patriotic.” We ARE going to say “he hangs out with radicals AND he’s not patriotic.”

LOL why is Obama repeating all those things? It’s just going to remind voters of their suspicions of him.
I can’t vote for Sarah Palin. They’ve scared me. I heard she was the mayor of a small town with a funny name and, you know, she doesn’t look like those guys on the money. Oh, and by the way, did I mention she is a girl?
