It’s possible that in the divorce decree that Todd Palin’s business partner’s x-wife made an accusation of an affair that the press will obfuscated to smear governor Palin.

Same with Jack Ryan. Compliments of the Chicago Tribune.

So, there appears to be absolutely nothing of any potential political relevance in this file in any event.

Good.

One would guess that if the allegation was that she had an affair, the offended spouse would not wait until the file was unsealed before spilling the beans.

That does sound strange. Why would he suddenly want them sealed?

Because of all the other personal information contained in the typical divorce decree, such as financial info, disclosures about the children and inlaws, social security numbers, tax info, medical info, you name it.

Well, clearly Trig is not Todd’s son. The Daily Pos proved it with comparative pictures of their eyelids. Is the business partner Asian, by any chance?

Soledad O’Brien ran with it, so it must be true.

I have a feeling if there was anything there, it would have been out when she left a trail of bodies of corrupt politicians in her path. There are a lot of people who have a desire for revenge.

All I have to say is bring it. She is McCain’s wingman now, and a fighter squad of FReepers is behind her.

Clear the flak boys, leave a trail open for Barracuda to strafe the enemy.

My suspicion is that the judge refused to seal the records in order to prevent the Kos wackos from making something out of nothing.

Who cares? Are people going to not vote for MCCain because of this? Are they going to run to BO? I think not. Who cares??

Alaska is a “no fault” divorce state, and this divorce was completed in two months. There’s no there there. The attempted record seal was also done on a pro per basis (no attorney).

Good? How can you say, “Good!”? It is the seriousness of the charges that matter, not the facts themselves...

...and in the absense of facts, the media can make up their own without dispute.

Christ was innocent, too, but they still crucified Him.

That's my feeling, too

I wonder if they’ve requested the seal to lead the MSM on a wild goose chase? Palin’s rough treatment in the press does good things to the GOP pole numbers.

Alaska’s a no-fault divorce state, so I doubt if there’s anything at all in there regarding this.

In my divorce papers in Alaska (1988), the papers didn’t even have a place to mention or allude to infidelity. It’s not a factor for no-fault divorce.

(OTOH, things could have changed since ‘88.)

IO honestly think that because the press has so much power, it’s time for someone to start raking thru their private lives and publishing whatever they find.

Clear the fog out of your brains. If this allegation were true, where were the complaints days earlier?

Please, do not let the MSM win. Really, I do not care. Get rid of Obama.

The biggest cheap whores in 2008 is the MSM.

Yup. “No-Fault Divorce” means exactly that.

True and maybe the partner doesn’t want his private business to go primetime.
