Also, Dick Morris when pressed, told Sean Hannity this afternoon that he expects Obama to win by 1 - 2 percentage points. Morris is probably betting that this will happen because of the fact that there has been a population shift, but no Census and subsequent Congressional redistricting that means that the Republicans we expected to be in Ohio have gone west and since they will overwhelming elect McCain in western and southern red states those states won't have the electoral votes that they will have after the 2010 census and we will loose with the slimmest of margins. This may very well be determined be a case where Obama has a majority in the electoral college but a minority on the popular vote count. Just like Bush - Gore in 2000. So we have to hope to hold Ohio and quite possibly roll Colorado. It would be nice to have Pennsylvania, but there are just too many Dems there to overcome.
Thank God he didn't say "nappy". We'd never hear the end of it.
In 2004 Kerry won PA by 1/2 of the votes by which Bush won Ohio (PA -75,000 v. OH +150,000). There are plenty of votes for Palin in this state. Why do you think Obama has been spending so much time here? It was a battleground state last time, and given Barry's gun grabbing record in the state with the highest percentage of NRA members in the country, it's going to be contested territory again.
