"Brown Noise" & "Static"

The three adult children who took turns disrupting John McCain's acceptance speech last night, now being heralded as heroes by some left wing blogs, are off-springs of the steady lineage of vitriolic shrill that's come from Al Gore (of "He lied to us; he preyed on our fears" fame), Teddy Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin, Harry Reid, et al, for they have helped sustain and sanction their growth.
With each spewing of distain and hatred for Bush-Cheney, a divot is taken out of the fairway of what civility there was left in American political discourse. And, while partisans might meet later with their pseudo mortal enemies over a drink in the club and exchange stories, their naive minions-of-bitterness take all the adversarial theater seriously. So they put bumper stickers on their cars that read "Bush Lied & People Died," and the more zealous among them dress up in costume and crash McCain's acceptance speech.
Some blogs have identified the protesters last light as "veterans." Veterans of what? The suppression of free speech? The battle to support rudeness and incivility by trying to drown out what others want to hear?
With every disruption from these "veterans," McCain picked up a few thousand more votes. And, when he smiled, went off script, and said, "Don't be diverted by ground noise and static," the focused steadiness of the former combat pilot surfaced and we got a closer glimpse into the man.
I'm thinking most of us liked what we saw at that moment. I sure did.
then there should be an investigation into which media outlet and which journo gave them this.
It is disgusting that a certain someone from the media did this and needs to be exposed

They should apply Federal RICO statues against those people. The plan and collude to break the law. It doesn’t get much clearer than that!
We share the same fear. How long before one of these morons decides to martyr himself and take a few dozen Rethuglicans with him?
I agree 100% and Obama sounded like a angry mad man preaching to me (yea, I suffered through the speech, just curious)
It's an indicator of high intelligence. No wonder the Dems are so dour and glum all the time.
It would be better to call it BROWN NOISE.

Cute. Senator McCain said we’re supposed to stop all the “back and forth negativity” now, but that IS cute. (Not, laughing, really...no, really.)
Brown noise is sound whose upper frequency components drop off at a rate of 6dB/octave, as distinct from pink noise which has a 3dB/octave drop, and white noise which has a uniform amplitude at all frequencies. From a practical standpoint, pink noise is probably the most useful for purposes of testing audio equipment.
Ground noise is ambient noise which is detected even when the input to a device is shorted and should be completely quiet. It represents the baseline noise level of a system.
Ground noise would seem more apropos here from a technical standpoint, but 'brown noise' could appeal on the basis of scatological or historical references.
