I was just watching MSNBC whining, because I refused to watch O'Reilly serving softballs to Obama. The RNC was showing a video tribute to the 9/11 victims.
After the tribute, Olby breaks back, and makes note that what he has to say is for our ears only, that he doesn't want to disturb his colleagues at the convention (Olby is in NY studio).
He then says, if any network showed these terrible disturbing images at such length, they would be skewered by everyone for their insensitivity, including the RNC. He went on to say he lost close friends in 9/11, and then apologized to his viewers for having to sit through the "disturbing" video put on by the RNC.
There are some liberals who pray at the alter of Olbermann. It has been my personal experience that they are just as crazy as he is.
I doubt many high school seniors could tell you the significance of Americas role in World War II, so the revision is well on its way.

To be honest, I think that olberman was sent to Coventry cause of some of his visceral comments about republicans.
I don't think he was afraid of being attacked at the RNC, I think MSNBC decided to keep him from attend the convention.

My sister told me that she is a Socialist. I asked her how long. She said since our mom tried to have her high school history book banned in 1970. I thought ‘Poor Mom. The history books must have been lying that long ago.’ My late (2006) mother lived through WW2. She absolutely hated when there was revisionist history taught. She was a teacher. I knew my sister was far left but 2 months ago was the first time she admitted to me that she is actually a Socialist. Made me sick.
