I know it’s no surprise, but I actually heard Olberman say that the media might “take off the kid gloves” if Palin isn’t careful. These people will never stop.

Even a half-way respectable one like Tom Brokaw was heard to say that the media is more ideological today because of the blogs, as if it is the blogs’ fault that NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, NY Times, etc. have turned into tabloids. Low culture cannot corrupt high culture without the capitulation of high culture. It is your fault, Tom. The least you could do is admit it.

My mother was a democrat until Clinton lied to her. She hasn't voted since and was totally turned off of politics. She said they were all liars anyway, so why bother. She was actually excited this morning about Palin. She really liked her!

My wife didn't come down right away for the speech because she was afraid Sarah might lay an egg. She was amazed by what she saw!

In a way, Browkaw is right... these reporters all want the limelight, the big scoop and they want everyone to listen to what they have to say on the big topic of the day... the blogs beat them all to the punch and they’re left reporting old, tired news...

so instead, they try to jump ahead of all the facts and just report whatever rumors they find the most interesting from the blogs they read... if only they read a few Right-sided blogs!
