Obama Campaign: "Palins Speech Did Not Say One True Thing About Obama "
New York Post ^ | 09/04/08

PITTSBURGH – Barack Obama's camp is unloading on Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin after Palin described herself as a "pit bull" and then tore into Obama in a tough convention speech.

"There wasn't one thing that she said about Obama or what he's proposing that's true," fumed Obama's strategist David Axelrod, speaking to reporters aboard Obama's campaign plane.

Axelrod defended Obama against one of Palin's most biting lines, when she ridiculed a favorite part of Obama's resume, saying: "I guess a small town mayor is sort of like a community organizer -- except that you have actual responsibilities."

"They can demean service in the community but I think most people appreciate it," Axelrod shot back.

Technically true. It was not one, but many.

We must ask if this isn’t another trap that McCain set out.

By going after Sarah’s experiance - they opened the door to Obama’s. I bet it will come up in the debates.

Now we have Sarah playing the Pit Bull attack dog, the standard roll for the VP - she can say things about Obama that if said by a white male can be twisted. But from a woman who can say her attacks with a smile on her face....

That is some heavy damage that will be inflicted on Obama bin Biden.

Payback’s a b****, ain’t it?

You didn’t hear a damn thing from the Obama camp for most of this weak when his surrogates in the media and on the internet where spreading vicious lies about Palin and her family.

Cry me a friggin’ river, Barack.

Of course not. Specifics are never needed. It’s Obama we’re talking about, after all.

Palin’s best line was about taking down the Styrofoam Greek columns and hauling them back to the studio lot.

Obama is the Styrofoam politician. Looks good on the surface but very light weight with no internal substance.

Yeah - she had this line in her speech:

“And there is much to like and admire about our opponent.”

That’s right there wasn’t one specific about your “hope and change” flim flam plans for America. It was not supposed to be that type of speech-your marxism is going to be exposed over the next 50+ days on the campaign trail.

Later, Axelrod unleashed the following “classic” arguments:

Is NOT, Is NOT!

I know you are but what am I??

It takes one to KNOW one!

I am rubber, you are glue, what bounces off me sticks to you!

...and others, straight from a playground near you!

That's correct. There was not one true thing, but several.

The question is not whether people "appreciate" a "community organizer", but whether that service qualifies one to be POTUS.

IMHO, I read another article that was posted in a thread here and also saw it somewhere on the news boards. About Obama and Obiden were going to sue/file criminal charges against the Bush administration IF they made office.

To me that indicates that they are going to use the power of office to sue/file against more than just the Bush administration, costing taxpayers a lot of money for a frivolous reason. Including You and I for voicing OUR opinion against them. I can just see this happening.

Since they are both Lawyers IF there is anything to sue/file, why don’t they do it now?

Since they say everything she said is lies, seems to reason that they
are the ones that brought up the inexperience of Palin.

He’s right, you know. There wasn’t ONE thing she said that was true, there were MANY things she said that were true.

What HAS Obama said that is true? What HAS Obama proposed really?

Reminds me of the song, “Alfie.” Sing along everybody!

“What’s it all about, Obama?
Is it just for the moment we live?
What’s it all about when you sort it out, Obama?

Obama has nothing. He may have to try and use the first times he made it himself to the potty himself as among his greatest life achievements.

The article title at this time is:

“BARACK FIRES BACK: PALIN’S SPEECH FULL OF LIES”

You might ask the mods to change it. (I realize the NY Post might have changed the title after you posted this thread.)

What are these people smoking? Their pr baloons have been stick with hundred of pins and they’re going down. Ad man Donny Deutch called her “the new Reagan” on CNBC and when asked how he’d create a campaign against her said, “You can’t.”
