ST. PAUL, MINN. (AP) - Republican presidential nominee John McCain began his final drive for the White House on Thursday with a boost from running mate Sarah Palin while Democratic opponent Joe Biden declared her family "off limits" and suggested that some news media coverage of her had been sexist.
Palin and her husband, Todd, announced this week that their 17-year-old unmarried daughter was pregnant and would be marrying her boyfriend, saying they were making a private matter public because of Internet rumors. Biden said the Democratic campaign was not attacking Palin over her family.
"It is off limits to talk about her family," Biden said in an interview with "Fox and Friends" on Fox News Channel. "Every family has difficulty as they're raising their children. I think the way she's handled it has been absolutely exemplary."

I appreciate that 34 years ago he lost his first wife and daughter. That did not stop him from becoming an attack monster for the democrat party. His children are grown professional lobbyists. They are fair game.

Sure. LOL Biden doesn’t want anyone to see those adorable children. People are falling in love with her family and the “unwed mother” line has already become “Romeo and Juliet”. The little girl giving her baby brother’s head a spitshine was so funny! How can anyone see these geniune people and not be impressed?

The democrat candidates use the MSM as their proxy fighters.
They stay clean and appear above the fray. Meanwhile the MSM digs at anything, without limits, on their behalf.
So until Biden gets in the face of the MSM, I don’t believe him.
I don’t have to give them anything! Obama can say it a thousand times that his campaign will not go after Palin’s family because he knows he has already set the wheels of his Alinsk, Community Orginizer, school of tactics into high attack gear. Having done that he can now distance himself and his campaign from any attacks against Palin’s family while sitting back an enjoying the fruits of his “Community Orginizer” training.
Immediately after which he took on the role as a single father AND senator WHILE taking care of seriously injured children. He cannot possibly criticize Sarah Palin's family without drawing parallels to his own circumstances.

I just posted about this on another thread.
On the AOL homepage,there was a link to a story about Biden’s daughter being arrested during a protest at the RNC convention.
When I went back to look for it...it was gone.

That’s right. And where can the attacks go now anyway? Did you watch the RNC last night? So the pregnant daughter is right there with her good-looking boyfriend/fiance and I’m sure it must be a little bit embarassing for a seventeen-year-old unmarried girl, but she stood up and they stood together and now where can you go with it?
The Palin family is a gigantic asset, not a liability. Biden wishes they would be talked about as little as possible. And seen as little as possible. Or else people might start getting the idea that these are REAL PEOPLE. People who welcome babies with joy. People who run a family business. People who actually WORK FOR A LIVING. Middle-class people. Who got involved in politics. Instead of professional lawyer-politico-leeches.
Go ahead. Talk about the Palin family all you want.
I’ve been talking about this a while. Biden has a serious problem with one of his lobbyist kids. It’s a scandal that’s already starting.
He was positively grinning the other night when he said this. You bet he wants kids off limits.
Problem is, her kids is a child yet who did something having nothing to do with anyone but herself. Biden’s son is an adult that may have done illegal stuff.
Including the son who w/o qualifications landed a job maiking $1.8 Million a year.
