This makes Governor Palin and even more remarkable lady since she continued her speech flawlessly.

The ABC News feed of the shots behind Gov. Palin showed the teleprompter speaker right working properly. If it got off place because someone wasn’t paying attention I didn’t notice it. I did notice she got some applause she wasn’t expecting and had to wait for the crowd to quiet down before continuing.

I’m not sure about this. I watched her on a PBS channel, and there were several shots from behind that showed the telepromters with text. The text matched what she was saying.

There were times during her speech when they had shots from behind where I could see the text that she was reading so it was working for quite a bit of the speech. But then there was a part or two where I caught sight of her glancing down at the podium. I imagine she had a card there with bullets on the major points to reminder her of the main topics so she could be sure to hit all of them in the proper order in case something went wrong with the teleprompter.

You’ll probably notice the point(s) where she starts going off the cuff.

Very impressive, indeed, but she's never used a teleprompter in her life so it was no big deal to her.
She's cool under pressure and I like that:-)
I hope they fix the teleprompter before McCain's speech. He and teleprompters don't mix too well.

I noticed she went back to the written notes on the lecturn for reference - what a gal!

I had not heard this. It shows the command of the facts and an ability to think on her feet, something we don’t see in BO

Don’t tell CNN. They said she had good speech written for her and gave her almost little credit. Campbell Brown was actually sweating in her chair. The left was left with their mouths open and just looking for their foots to insert whenever they caught their breath.

You know, I saw that. I noticed that Palin seemed to get just a tad nervous all the sudden with about 15 minutes left in her speech. I was wondering why--now it makes sense.
Fortunately, this is one smart lady who seems quite unflappable.
It's no wonder the dems are soiling themselves about her!

My mom, who will vote for McCain but thinks Obama is the bees knees, was commenting on how great his acceptance speech was cause he did it all from memory..no notes! lol
Ever try and explain teleprompters to a 77 year old woman who has evacuated her home due to a hurricane (stressful)? It was almost as much fun as trying to explain to her how to scroll thru a menu on a DVD to find the "play button" over the phone.

That’s because she knows her stuff and is not rehearsed, the same can not be said of RainbOwbama. Bravo, Mrs. Palin!

Obama is a total joke. He probably needs a teleprompter to speak to his wife and kids.

Let me get this straight. Once the teleprompter broke Sarah was on her own? And then she proceeded to rip the cajones off Obama.
Sarah is awesome! Obama is walking around today with band-aids where is cajones once hung!

This makes a lot of sense. I noticed the points in both speeches. They were only thrown off for a few brief seconds. Supper congrats to Rudy and Sarah. I watched the speeches on Fox but turned to PSMSNBC for the comments afterwards. They looked and sounded like they had been mugged. It was wonderful.

The only interruption I noticed in the speech is when a commie code-PINKO was escorted out. Whoever let the trash in should be escorted out and have their (media) credentials revoked.
