When I lived in North Carolina, the expression was, Shoot, shovel, shut up.
Sometimes I miss North Carolina.
In West Tampa, they don’t have any expressions. Because it didn’t happen, as far as you know. You didn’t see nothing. Gun? What gun?
SSS is not exclusive to North Carolina...
I’ve lived in many sections and states and that seems to be a universal expression..
Especially here in the West — where far too many “pests” are protected species...
