The guilty/not guilty lexicon is traditionally associated with when a female teacher engages in sexual activity with a male student. If the teacher is physically attractive then male FReepers tend to comment that they wish they had teachers like her, and apply the not guilty label.

The other spelling “guiTLy” simply means ugly in any context, and is particularly difficult for the human eye to pick up while reading. I prefer guiTLy because I feel a measure of shame applying innocence to someone who has committed statutory rape. Twenty years down the road whem I’m a vice-presidential candidate, and people are scrutinizing these threads I can point out “no, I said she wasn’t guiTLy!”

I need a quick vote. I've seen the "not guilty" term applied to both the attractive and unattractive teacher. Any consensus?

Is the attractive teacher guilty based on looks (easily seduce hormone raging students) or not guilty based on the jury not paying attention to the case (too busy ogling the defendant)?
