Reviewing speeches at the Dem convention, Keith Olbermann was like a mother describing her child's performance in a middle-school musical. "A grand slam across the street," enthused Olbermann over Hillary's effort, only to outdo himself by calling Obama's speech's "spellbinding" and "extraordinary."
But when it came to reviewing Fred Thompson's speech at tonight's Dem convention, Olbermann suddenly morphed into Frank Rich with a migraine back in his theater critic days.
Sniffed Olbermann: "We have heard two speeches in the last forty minutes or so, Chris, first from President Bush and now from former Senator Fred Thompson. I think it's fair to say, nearly entirely militaristic in nature and touching to some degree on who John McCain is and what he would do, but mostly standing him next to a flag and a gun."

Keith is not ready for prime time political commentary. He thinks he is Jon Stewart on Comedy Central. Chris Matthews is not far behind, but at least he seems be coming to grips that Obama may not be “The One”.
They may have misssed it, but America didn't.

Olbermann is an effeminate snob, a rube who msnbc hopes will pull their ratings out of the tank by means of his “quick wit and razor sharp commentary” (puleeeeeeeze).....it aint going to happen. Most people I know who have heard him consider him a twit, dumb as a rock and black hole stupid...so stupid in fact no intelligence can escape. He is in other words the perfect liberal which most Americans loath. Im glad hes there...just pisses people off.
This is why I am glad my local cable company dropped MSNBC from its lineup. Now if they’d only get the Military Channel...
