I just got through watching the convention, I got a phone call about something technical at work and missed Fred Thompson so I am re-coding it all over again on CSPAN2, I hear it was a doozy.

Here is what happened, I started recording it on NBC, when commercials started up I switched over the MSNBC, what happened was Thompson ripped quite a few about the dirty deeds the networks were pulling and the networks must have had a heads up and they basically cut out most of Thompson s speech, I missed a bit myself, obviously this needs some illumination upon why the MSM is censoring the Voice of America.

I hope McCain gets Thompson in some prominent post, something to use that fiery rhetoric, it was downright spine tingling.

No one here loathes the obamanation more than I do. I have finally resolved to say nothing else about Sarah on FR because as the proverb says, “never argue with a fool for pretty soon no one can tell the difference”holds true. If the republican party needs a dream to rally around then so be it. I have had this discussion with my pragmatist friends to the point I am tired of it. If it is good for the party then it is OK, there, see I have drunk the kool aid. SP has the astounding good fortune to be that image at the right time and right place. Pardon my reality check but as a military officer for over 20 years I know that the POTUS is also the CIC. Were I to be on active duty now with the bear roaring it scares the hell out of me to think SP would be answering the phone when the balloon goes up. On a more practical note I now fear for my beloved little town. It was a well hidden secret till all the national and international attention. We like people to come up here and visit then go home. Call me anti-social, it kinda fits.
