Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread - Tuesday 9/2/08
The EIB Network ^ | September 2, 2008 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 09/02/2008 8:16:22 AM PDT by TSchmereL

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

"We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless You, Rush Limbaugh."

The MSM just fell into the “Bully Trap.”

That is EXACTLY what they have done, and I'm sure lots of Democrat heads are exploding right now because giving this extremely common story (17-year-old gets pregnant) the scope of a huge, shocking national news event suddenly reveals the "liberal" crowd as the hypocritical, intolerant prigs we have always known they are, beneath their veneer of "tolerance."

The media going nutso over something that occurs in pretty much every American family also reveals how out of touch they are with American life.

I'd love to hear some of the shouting matches between party bosses and their media slaves over the next few days, particularly after Palin gives what I'm sure will be a stunning speech and blows them all out of the water.

That’s it. I’ve hit the abuse button. My complaint is that your posts are increasingly becoming ad hominem attacks.

The MSM sat on the story about Rielle Hunter’s pregnancy, but was not prepared to do the same for Bristol Palin’s. Go figure.

Rush: “We are not judgmental people...”

Apparently he doesn't read FreeRepublic too often, as it seems there are plenty of judgmental “conservatives” on board. *L*

I read this a few days ago on NRO about Governor Palin's foreign policy experience. This was an email in response to Jonah Goldberg dismissing Gov. Palin being in charge of the Alaska National Guard:

Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. It’s on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.

As governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden's.

She's also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Security's counterterrorism plans.

Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire country's defense. Given Alaska's proximity to Russia, she may have security clearances we don't even know about.

According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in February, but nobody ever found out. This is a woman used to keeping secrets.

She can be entrusted with our national security, because she already is.

Oops! Sorry, I forgot to include your statement.

We are allowed to condemn immoral and irresponsible behavior as long as the people involved are not conservative or Republican. If they are conservative/Republican and are running for office, then be doubly warned.

My FRiend, if you have time to repeat your point, you have time to provide a link to a post that supports your assertion.

Your posts #216 & #218 are over-the-top ad hominem attack on the posters and not on the issues.

Ed, I’m defending Sarah Palin and her daughter.

Coming from a small town and going to an “evangelical” church and having a sister who went through the same thing, I’m sure the Palin’s were, initially, somewhat embarrassed...but, they are handling it like great parents and a solid family.

The media would like to portray that Sarah Palin is “ok” with her daughter’s actions. I’m sure she’s not. But, she loves and supports her daughter and is encouraging her to take responsibility. The time for any embarrassment is past.

I want the conservative to win in order to really really see the reporter class squirm.

And that they will. Can you imagine, after the past couple of days, the McCain/Palin administration being friendly with those Drive-Bys who have been wallowing in the mud?

If their careers depend on their access to a McCain White House, they're done. There are plenty of fair, decent reporters to credential, without letting in the riff-raff.

I don't think the media even realizes yet what the exposure of their ugly side over the weekend has done to them. They'll find out soon enough.
