ST. PAUL, Minn. - Sarah Palin voluntarily told John McCain's campaign about her pregnant teenage daughter and her husband's 2-decade-old DUI arrest during questioning as part of the Republican's vice presidential search.

Arthur B. Culvahouse Jr., the lawyer who conducted the background review, told The Associated Press in an interview Monday that Palin underwent a "full and complete" background examination before McCain chose her as his running mate. Asked whether everything that came up as a possible red flag during the review already has been made public, Culvahouse said: "I think so. Yah, I think so. Correct."

"I think so?" What a putz. That's an HRC-like answer.
“I think so?” What a putz.
“I think so”= “not exactly”, or “I don’t know that for sure.”
And if there is something that hasnt come out yet, what is he supposed to do- announce it now?
“I don’t think so”. ;-)
The media is holding an old fashion witch trial over the daughter’s pregnancy. Pretty disgusting.
The dems have got to be kidding with the husband’s dui from when he was 22 years old.
It's beginning to look more and more like Palin and her family are one of us, as in real Americans. How refreshing.
No the correct response, which should have been scripted, is to turn every one of the “vetting” issues into a positive:
“We vetted governor Palin thoroughly. In particular:
“1. We learned that Governor Palin had far more executive, energy and foreign policy experience than Senator Obama. Unlike Senator Obama, whose sole claim to executive experience is running the Chicago Annenberg Project along with terrorist William Ayers, Sarah Palin ran a city for 15 years and today, runs the state that produces 20% of America’s energy.
“2. We knew that a former member of the Palin family is both a state trooper and has a serious problem with alcohol. We knew that this trooper has tasered civilians in personal disputes, threatened the person of the governor and made horrible, explicit racial slurs—all while in uniform. And we knew that a former state police—Mr. Monegan—commissioner for some reason, did not fire that trooper.
“Gov. Palin fired Mr. Monegan. Well, good for her. Mr. Monegan was obviously not doing his job. Even if Mr Monegan is telling the truth, so what? The governor ought to be concerned that a state trooper is using a taser to settle personal disputes and casting racial slurs. Wouldn’t you be?
“3. Finally, we knew that the Palin family has twice faced crises of conscience—and twice made the right decision. Once when their teenage daughter made a bad mistake and got pregnant. The second time when Sarah Palin learned that her baby would be born with Down’s syndrome. In both cases, the Palin’s made the hard decision and chose the life of the baby. And when we discovered that, we were proud of the Palins for their character and grace under pressure.
“The press and the Obama campaign ought to be ashamed of making a 17 year old girl’s mistake a centerpiece in their campaign. I ask you, ‘Would you and Senator Obama be asking the same questions if Governor Palin were a man?’”
“I would respectfully suggest that the members of the press would better spend their time inquiring about Senator Obama’s known and long running relationship with terrorist, William Ayers instead of obsessing about a 17 year old girl’s sex life.”
“Sarah Palin has taken on the corrupt old-boy network in Alaska and sent several of them to jail. These attacks are nothing but a high-tech lynching of a fine public servant.”
To hell with Sarah Palin!!!! She got a citation for fishing without a license. She fooled me....I thought she was the real deal!!!
She should resign immediately. This is as bad as Eliot Spitzer’s escapades in my book. Fishing without a license is a sign of a sick, sick, sick mind. I think I read somewhere else that her daughter’s boyfriend ILLEGALY CAUGHT AN ENDANGERED SALMON AND WAS FINED OVER $300 .... THESE PEOPLE ARE FISH KILLERS!!!! THEY ARE SICK REDNECKS!!!
SICK!!!!
/sarcasm off
