Blitzer & Situation Room Sink Into The Liberal Sewer ( Discusion of Gov Palin's daughter )

I just watched the most amazing bit of TV in decades - I cannot wait to see the YouTube version of it. Wolf Ditzer (aka Blitzer) was hosting Gloria Berger, Bill Bennet, Donna Brazille an John King (I believe) on The Situation Room and were discussing young Bristol Palin’s (Governor Palin’s oldest daughter) pregnancy and her plans to have the baby and marry the father. At the center of this discussion was Barack Obama’s call to keep the families (and these personal decisions) off limits. But what does CNN do? They air a woman reporter who ran to Alaska questioning the entire abstinence position of Governor Palin in light of her daughter’s  pregnancy. It was pathetic.

Besides the Duh factor that abstinence works every time it is tried (pregnancies being proof of the opposite) Bill Bennet was rightfully outraged at CNN and Blitzer for bringing the Palin family’s personal issues into the debate like this. Bennett was hammering Blitzer who did not want to concede CNN crossed the line.

John King was looking just stunned and as if he was going to get sick. He wanted nothing to do with the muck raking by CNN.

In a way, this is CNN jumping the shark. So maybe this is a good thing.

This wasn’t why TV was invented. It was the worst few minutes of TV I have ever seen.

Their sneering and elitist patronizing might entertain their metrosexual friends but, in the meantime, they are driving more and more women into the McCain/Palin camp.

If this is on limits than what was the crap from he mainstream media about Bill Clinton's run with Monica. I distinctly remember all the talk about this is a private matter. And recently with Edwards infidelities, all the media thought we shouldn't talk about it so as not to “hurt” the family. My problem is their blatant, disgusting hypocrisy. That's my problem.

Is this the same CNN that didn’t show Gov. Jindal’s press conference? Neither did FoxNews, only MSNBC. Jindal is only the Gov. of the state in the center of the storm. unbelievable bias...

Disgusting. Kondrake on Brit’s show tried a similar tack and Bill Kristol came unglued with great anger at him, calling him disgusting to his face.

I’ve never seen Kristol that mad, ever.

What does this have to do with an election? Would you want your daughter dragged through the news for something this private? Then again, if she had flushed this baby down the toilet nobody would have known. You guys are amazing.

Yeah but Kristol tore into Kondrake when he mentioned abstinence. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Kristol that mad. Both Fred and Mara were with Kristol that it was off limits for Kondrake to mention, and Brit changed the subject real fast...it was a bit of a powder keg.

And the only reason Obama came out with his little comment about “family members and children being off limits” is because the libs have been getting hammered by anybody with the slightest bit of taste.

LOL Hard to hide five months pregnant. Everyone in Alaska knew about her daughter and that she is pg, engaged and going to marry her boyfriend, who is the father. Where did she hide anything?
