Executive experience

Obama: Makes executive decisions every day that affect the lives of his campaign staff and a vast crowd of traveling journalists

Palin:Makes executive decisions every day that affect the lives of 500,000 people in her state, and that impact crucial issues of national economic interest such as the supply and cost of energy to the United States.

This is highly biased in favor of Obama, doesn't mention Palin's experience as Mayor. But he gets one thing right -- that's what I posted in the excerpt.

The other thing about the comparison between Obama and Palin that the Dems keep trying to gloss over, is that Obama is running for President, Palin for VP. BIG difference.

You gotta love the fact that Obama is now running against Palin. That can’t be a winning strategy. Its a clear admission of the weakness of his candidacy and shows a lack of confidence in his own VP. Love it!

Don't forget that B.O. (no H.) edited the Harvard Law School Review. That probably means he got to stipulate to a few other law schoolers what they must do.

Did the author echo the Mort Kondracke arguments in favor of Obama:

"Palin has no expereince; I mean, she has never even been on Meet the Press!"

and...

"Obama has a lot of experience to be President; he's been running for President for a long time now."

I was thinking the same thing. Why is Lightweight Boy sparring with a the VP candidate over qualifications when he is going to get FREEEEEEPINNGGG Decked by Heavyweight McCain when it’s fight night?

Not at all...in fact, I was worried it was a little too snarky AGAINST Obama (not that I disagree with that). It is HEAVILY favorable to Palin.

This is turning into a repeat of the Dem primary season, and this there are no cacauses, which can be packed with believers and intimidators. Did anybody expect that Baraq Obama's face would be painted on the glass ceiling?

Maybe that makes it stained glass.

That’s true, the longer the argument stays on Obama v. Palin, the Obama brand will continue to tarnish and diminish in stature. This just keeps the discussion on “Is he qualified?” quite ingenious really.

I’m almost starting to believe that McCain is a genius. If he had picked a VP candidate with a long and crusty career, the debate wouldn’t NOW be how the Dems’ #1 candidate stacks up against the Repubs’ _#2_ candidate. It doesn’t even matter who WINS that particular debate - the longer it continues, the more it will sink in that “wait a minute, why is this debate even happening? How did the Dems even put themselves in a position where they HAVE to defend the inexperience of their #1 pick?”

Not to mention overseeing a $2.9 billion annual budget.

“At first blush, here’s what we know about the relative experience of the two candidates. Both are in their mid-forties and have held statewide elective office for less than four years. Both have admitted to taking illegal drugs in their youth.”

Equating Obama’s drug use and Palin having tried marijuana, but she didn’t like it IS a bias FOR Obama. Also, Obama being in the Senate as one of 100 is NOT the same as Palin having been governor.

This was totally anti-Obama. I giggled throughout the whole article. The nuance that she is “unqualified” because she has never been on Meet The Press and hasn’t won an Emmy was SARCASM....

The obama campaign is running against a "perceived weakness" in the McCain campaign.

And consequently getting it's butt kicked!

I'm loving it. People are realizing that Governor Palin, McCain's second in command, is far more qualified for the office of POTUS than obama is.

Now with the recent announcement of Palin's daughter's pregnancy, obama's campaign has switched tactics again and is now running against a 17 YO girl.

And they are still losing.

SWEET!!!

Prayers for the young lady and her child. Hope she's not taking this too bad. obama and his minions better not harm her in any way...
