Dear Governor and Todd Palin,
We understand you are expecting your first grandchild in the near future, and would like to extend a sincere wish for your family's peace and happiness.
Not every preganancy situation is perfect, but every child is precious and is a blessing from God. May you and Bristol enjoy this new little life, and may she be allowed to enjoy the joyous moments of pregancy that every woman is entitled to.
Please forgive the attacks of outsiders on a very private family matter, and please know that you have the support of millions of caring and praying Americans.
Bless this little life and bless Bristol as she makes this challenging, but incomparably rewarding, transition to parenthood.
Please use this thread to show your support for this fine family.
pregnancy. Sorry about the rushed typo.
excellent thread. and amen
This is going to take away all of Nazi Pelosi’s “grandmother” thunder that she received from the “media” during her coronation as Speaker. They all got “tingles” down their legs when Nazi sat their holding a child in a grandmotherly way and the “media” just melted. Now, Sarah will be able to hold a grandchild on her lap when John McCain is sworn it.
A real family dealing with real problems with love, grace and dignity is exactly who we need in Washington DC.
Congratualtions to the Palin family. This is great news!!!! Another Alaskan is on the way!
Sorry but what the hell is this about anyway? Briston is a boy! What is this nonsense?
On no, the Palin’s are at it again. Setting another example of unconditional love and acceptance of human life. Is it never going to end?????
Everyone of our kids except one was a surprise and they all seem to come at what might first appear to be an ‘inconvenient’ time as per popular culture's messed up priorities—I won't trade any of them for anything in the whole world.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Sincere Congratulations. We need to throw a baby shower worthy of Free Republic and put our money where our mouth is.
A lot different than Obama’s words that his daughters are not going to be punished by having his grandchild!!
God bless the Palin family and your message bears repeating:

Ok people, that's a bit much. While I respect her for keeping the baby and marrying the father Congratulations for a teenage unwed pregnancy are not usually what we do around here
What an incredible idea. FRmail me!
Hey, Bristol... we’re in the D.C. area and if you need a babysitter, give us a call! I know you will have other offers, but our daughter isn’t married yet and we miss babies in the house.
Don’t worry kid, we’ve got your back.
Need baby blankets?
We are not celebrating a teenage pregnancy. We are celebrating life. As I stated, the situation is not perfect. This is still their first grandchild and still a blessing.
I thought about a Vanity post to organize a Free Republic baby shower, but I’m not much of an organizer or a mover and shaker. I do live in Las Vegas which is pretty cool though and a party city ;)
Their daughter, Bristol, is pregnant.
Since I have lived through this experience myself, I can tell you that this is something the Irish call a “doubly joyous occasion”. Life happens all the time, I have never regretted marrying and having a baby as a teenager.
Another poster started this thread in support of Sarah and Todd Palin, the prospective grandparents. Did you want me to wish them ill?
