Thanks for the ping.

If that happened and Palin did step aside, I wouldn't be disappointed. Several FReepers including myself called for Palin to step down earlier today on this thread. Example at post #337. The malcontents didn't like such bold talk for even suggesting such a thing actually take place. I still remain more ticked off at McCain for holding back vital information about his running mate. Palin has huge responsibilities that require she be at home as often as possible. Lets hope the Palin choice doesn't quickly turn sour, damaging McCain's chances of winning even more.

“Palin has huge responsibilities that require she be at home as often as possible.”

That would make you feel so much more comfortable with yourself, would it not. The little woman steps aside for an “experienced” man, for the sake of Reagan Man's fragile psyche and self esteem. Perhaps feminists have been right about conservatives after all.

And who do you have in mind that is better to replace her with? I sure didn’t see anyone. And if any of them...men...had a pregnant daughter, no one would even notice.

She’s the best thing McCain ever thought of. I don’t know why, but he appears to have gone in the right direction on this.

I think Palin will make a great VP. Everything I've heard from her makes me think that she will have the correct philosophy and judgment to do the job.

I hope that she doesn't resign.
