Michelle isn’t off limits. Neither is Cindy, as they both speak as part of the campaign.
How they defend their accusers is up to them. Many of the criticisms against Michelle are based on Michelle’s own words at a campaign rally. If she says something that is outrageous, then it should be exposed.
McCain and Palin tried to hide this from US. They should have told this way before. No trust or confidence.
Heck I was on TV friday giving an interview on how outstanding Palin was. “Integrity, intelligent....”. Sheeesh.

How do you suggest Palin and her husband deal with her daughter? Send her to a convent to have the child in secret? Downgrade her in public so the world will know how ashamed Palin is of her daughter? Is that what God has done with us, with you? Did he turn his back on us, ashamed of all our cruel and mean words of judgement? What is the scripture say about the tongue of a man? It’s a dangerous thing.

True family values means accepting mistakes made by even the best of children, and loving them with all your heart. I have not seen even one person on this thread recommend that they encourage teen pregnancy, I just see them relating to the situation in a real world type way.
All children are blessings from God, and all great families realize that things happen.
The Palins are handling this the exact same way I would hope that every family would, and for that I respect them.

The profile you were looking at wasn’t the father. The facebook profile was by a guy named Chris. We know from Sarah’s statement that the fathers name is Levi.
From one Reagan related screen name to another, this situation is very relevant to President Reagan. Ronald Reagan and Nancy Davis didn't have a teenage child who conceived out-of-wedlock, THEY conceived a child out-of-wedlock as adults. No one here is condoning the sin in either case, but you and a small group of faux-righteous are claiming that this shows poor judgment on McCain's part. How could you ever have supported Pres. Reagan when his "error in judgment" was so much greater? We are all sinners, and Pres. Reagan and Bristol Palin both responded to their sin as honorably as possible by marrying or intending to marry their child's other parent. I'm seeing a fair number of good people on this thread pushing themselves on to the wrong side of this issue.

I'm not sure what your suggestion would be. Would it go something like John McCain saying "Fellow Americans, I have selected Sarah Palin as my Vice-Presidential running mate - and by the way, her daughter Bristol is pregnant."

I’m dying to know because McCain called him out on spreading these rumors. He specifically named Barack Obama’s campaign spreading it.
