God bless you HollyB! You are a mother - woman as creator, giver of life, bearer of the earthly spirit birthed within us...

Whatever the circumstances surrounding their births, our children are still gifts from God.

When I first held my daughter in my arms, I realized that whatever faults may have been present in me were washed away by the blood of Christ - and this wonderful creature, made by God, was the work of His Hands, an inestimable Gift of Love. So too it is with all children - made by God, given as a gift regardless of our own worthiness.

When Christ chose to come to earth, He came not to those who were safe, wealthy or acceptable; instead, Christ came to a young girl, not yet married, afraid, and uncertain of her future...

Mary ran to Elizabeth, and was comforted. Who among us will be Elizabeth for those women in our lives who find themselves unexpectedly bearing the gift of Life?

Thank you. There is no love, like the love a mother has for her child, except for the Love of God, which he has put in our hearts.

Well said. He rebuked the self righteous. Kept company with commercial fisherman, lepers, tax collectors...

Not with the holier-than-thou-sinless crowd.
