How many times have we propagated the Huma/Hillary lesbian rumor mill with a wink and a nod and a [POST]?
You can't compare the half-joking stuff that very few posters here posted, vs. the absolutely despicable tactics of a whole horde of lefties...
Giving them an out may be ok to you, but I don't feel that giving them a free pass, before they can even start to feel foolish about their actions... What does he hope to accomplish by this? Showing that we're hypocrites? Condemning FR for doing, in his opinion, what they did, and providing moral equivalence?
The MSM never picked up the Chelsea comparison, and no one accused a grown lady (Chelsea) of this kind of stuff... We're talking about a 16 year old girl, who they're trying to destroy, in a 2-fer... Look, let’s make it simple. The shame part takes place here when reasonable people ask questions and poke fun when posters act imbecilic. Logic (with a healthy dose of sarcasm when called for) will do the job. Anyone can be quoted out of context, and there is nothing you can do to prevent it. Meanwhile, you didn’t “need” to post the morphing pic to make your point, which is, I suspect why you’re drawing some of the reactions you’re getting.
Agreed, we need to concentrate on his political history and philosophy. He should be asked and re-asked about his programs. It shouldn’t take long before his answers will sound like a teenager explaining why he or she missed their curfew.
In my twisted little dream world I envision him crying and running off stage at a debate because he was asked to hard of a question. Something like, Why do you advocate giving away .7% of our GDP to foreign powers through the Global Poverty Act that you sponsored?”
