I am so weary of pigs like Combs. Nature can be faulted for producing genetically defective offspring and, thankfully, superior and loving people are often given the priviledge of caring for them by God. However, people who devolve into the kind of gibbering swine that Combs is have only themselves to blame for their mean, miserable and sub-human state.

Once the amniotic sac breaks, doctors advise delivering the child within 24 hours--if Gov. Palin consulted with her doctor and was told it was okay to finish up what she was doing (just because the water breaks doesn't necessarily mean you go into hard labor, as I can attest to with my twins!). I'm sure if this had been an emergency situation she would have gone immediately to the hospital. Waiting to deliver would not have changed her baby's DS condition, so he was never in any danger either.
