SHE'S just a beauty queen.
She's another Dan Quayle.
And ironically, the biggest criticism of Sarah Palin, John McCain's veep choice, is she has no experience. Funny, coming from the Barack Obama camp.
Following McCain's announcement of Palin - the first female to be put on a GOP ticket for the White House, and only the second in US history - the Obama campaign skipped the niceties and blasted her as the "former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience." She's also a governor of Alaska (my home state), the first woman in that office and the youngest elected in state history. She has an 80-plus percent approval rating. She has turned the state upside down with her reformist zeal and has made enemies of the Republican establishment.
What link?
Harvard doesn't teach manners.
Link...Link.Link???
Like your tag line. I’ve been scanning the Brit press over the weekend hoping to find some reference to Palin and Monty Python.
This is amusing since Kristen Powers admits that she’ll be voting for Obama.
:::::::::
I would not bet my life on it, but she does have to say that to keep her job. (as a frothing left winger).
I agree. She's obviously a Dem, however I find her to be a more credible opponent to Sean Hannity than Combes is. She now sees the writing on the wall.
Even CNN’s Cameron Brown called Paul Begala out for his sexist remarks concerning Palin’s outstanding speech on Friday. He observed that she made a good presentation and added the catty followup remark that she probably learned that from her beauty pageant experience. Kudos to Cameron for recognizing and calling attention to his snide comment.
Also, they’re the party of man-man and man-boy love, so maybe chicks need not join them.
She’s the govenor of the largest land-mass state in the union. She manages one of our nation’s largest oil supply fields, as well as offshore fishing. She shares borders with Canada, and deals with Chinese, Canadian and Russian relations on a daily basis.
How is that ZERO foreign experience?
And apparently, she has done negotiations with Canada with regards to an oil pipeline...so once again the liberals are show to be either ignorant or liars and their presidential candidate is vastly less qualified to be president than Gov. Palin, unless one buys Obama's claim that living overseas as a 7 year old qualifies one for presidential level negotiations.
My wife and I already decided that we would name our daughter Sarah, before this week. I'm sure everyone is going to believe that we named her because of Palin...which is fine by me.
Sarah is a beautiful name.
Sure, Canada counts ...
But consider, her neighbors are China and the USSR. “Most Dangerous Job” TV series has fishermen going into the Bering Sea; the USA isn’t the only one getting fish out of there. There is going to be Soviet, Chinese and hordes of other fishing boats coming from International into Alaskan waters.
If there are foreign boats entering Alaskan waters, there are going to be legal and illegal aliens. There are going to be boundary disputes, smuggling and other incidents.
I submit that her Foreign Expeience is far from Zero.
Maybe if Sarah goes over and makes a speach in Berlin, the Democrats will respect her foreign policy experience.
The media just needs to show more of her trips she’s ALREADY made to see her Alaskan Guard troops for instance in places like Kuwait.
Berlin’s irreleveant...as are the hypocrats.
One of her most redeeming qualities, seeing where the GOP has gone lately. Good on her.
Hopefully she can turn McCain into a conservative.
