I'm serious, though. Admittedly, I loathe the conventions anyway. I think they're just an excuse for people to party, get sauced, and/or screw around on somebody else's nickel.

You can be sure only the smallest of errors will be mentioned by the DBM in the evacuation of NO by bobby Jindal. He has proven that he is a huge Republican force to be reckoned with. What tremendous job he has done and is doing in managing a crisis that only a few years was hopelessly bungled by dem/rat supposed leaders from top to bottom.

It's obvious the Sunday shows are hoping for some “bungled” comments on Palin by Republican also-ran’s. They know their constant “Who is Sara Palin?”... doesn't have a long, shelf life.

Dems have to try to 'identify' Palin before the GOP does. They have been digging dirt as fast as they can.

One of the earliest that gave a good laugh was the female Wisc. Lt. Gov. calling Palin "fragile".

One poll I saw, can't recall which one, showed boma with a 6-7 point lead after his convention speech and than McCain with a 3-5 point lead after the Palin announcement,(The Palin experience I call it)totally unheard of!

Doris Kearns Goodwin, when is this clown going to shut up? She goes on and on about LBJ, FDR in a seemingly never ending drone.

Those are her area of expertise. Those are the books she 'wrote'. IIRC, she was accused of plagiarizing part of at least one of her books. But, MTP keeps bringing her back each election cycle. [Consider how much she and Joe Biden have in common. lol]

Usually the DEMS are SCREAMING that they have the big momentum.

This is amazing and done well by McCain.

Obama was expected to get a double digit bounce, and he did. But it did not last 24 hours because Sarah Palin knocked Obama off the news cycle. And only a few polls were able to catch the high point.
