I’m not -

I’ve said for quite some time there is no one in the republican party offering the hope that I grew up with under Reagan. I felt that hope watching her! She’ll hold her own and then some with Biden.

Relax nervous nellie, she will do just fine since the only issue that will matter then will be drilling ANWR. She is the expert on that and Bordom will show himself to be the windbag that he is.

Pray for W/Palin and our Troops

I am not. Biden can condescend to her and look like an a-hole to the millions of women pissed that Hillary didn't get the job that Biden is trying for. She also has a reputation for kicking ass when she needs it. Third, Biden makes plenty of gaffes on his own. Lastly, Palin can remind millions of those women that McCain was the one who put a woman on the ticket. How does Plugs explain why he is more qualified for the #2 slot when he was out of the Dem race in no time at all and Cankles got 18 million votes?

This debate won't change anyone's opinion of Obama vs McCain.

I’m concerned about the VP debate.

Don't be.

Sarah will be very gentle with the idiot, won't humiliate him in front of a national audience, and will be modest as she crushes him underfoot.

There's nothing to be nervous about.

I'm not. I believe Sarah is going to make BIden look bad...he will do most of it himself, but when contrasted to Sarah and what I believe will be quick, to the point, witty, and spot on comments the contrast will be obvious and compelling for Palin and McCain and devastating for Biden and Obama.

Sarah Palin is deadly. In fact Joe Biden might as well be debating Anne Coulter. Palin is that good.

I feel sorry for Biden already.

I’m concerned about the VP debate.

Why, I wonder?

For sure, Biden has 35 years of campaigning and political experience behind him. He has often spoken -- on the hustings, on the Senate floor, in Committee meetings and on the Sunday morning shows.

All of that is true.

However, at the same time he was doing these things, he has given ample evidence that he is a pompous blowhard, a gasbag of the worst kind.

He is not quick afoot. Given the choice between a terse direct response and a laborious circumlocution, he will inevitably choose the latter. And extend it. He is given to tired cliches, not the pithy epigram.

Biden is no "quick-witted debater". He is a ponderous target for one.

Based upon her performance at the VP introduction yesterday, she'll be picking his bones by the close.

No need to worry about Palin. The Left is worrying plenty enough to go around.

I'm not...at all.

Biden is the easiest type of person to put off-stride in a debate. I shouldn't doubt that Ms. Palin will be very able to goad him into one of his notorious gaffes, probably with little trouble.

And, of course, should The Plagiarist resort to his favourite tactic, namely bullying, 1) Ms. Palin will handle it quite nicely, and 2) he'll look just like the stupid sod that he is.

I'm not the slightest.

Sarah appears to never have to think about what she believes and like most women, doesn't hesitate to spit it out. She has a BS in Journalism (obvious from her appearance yesterday)with a minor in Political Science.

Her likability compared to the smarmy Biden is stunning. Of course, he will use his usual tactics but considering he's never left DC and the Senate sense he was 30, he's out of touch with real people while Sarah is very much in touch with real people.

Let Biden "go for the jugular" and he'll only come across as the blowhard, BS, bully that he is.

Somehow, I don't think that Sarah will be overly intimidated by him as she has faced down Alaskan bears intent on having her for lunch. Compare that to a limp wrist like Biden, no problem.

Here’s a thread with a link to the Alaskan primary debate. Granted, Biden may be more difficult to debate than these two primary opponents, but I think Sarah did very well. She’s intelligent, sincere, civil, yet forceful and persistent:

The Democrats will regret painting her as a lightweight and lowering expectations if she even manages to hold her own against Biden. I think she will surprise everyone and mop the floor with Joe.

Gov Palin knows how to deal with the mentally challenged and little children - she'll take it easy on Joe.

I’m concerned about the VP debate.

My concern would be liberal panel members trying to turn the debate into a "name that leader" game. I have no problem with them asking foreign policy questions, but it should not be a setup to make her look bad, question after question. They should ask about all sorts of topics, including areas that are her strengths, such as energy.

“I’m concerned about the VP debate.”

Don’t be. Biden is “a good old boy”. Palin has plenty of experience with good old boys in Alaska.

The political graveyard is littered with them from both parties up there after she went into battle with them.

It could be the best thing in the world for Biden to be bullying, condescending and patronizing toward her in the debates. He’ll look like an arrogant Washington lifer and she’ll clean his clock anyway. LOL

Palin trounching Botox in the debate - and there’s a very good possibility this will happen - will simply seal the election. This is the one election where the VP pick is very important. I think she is going to shine.
