So much for McCain’s talking point that the “war on terror” is the transcendent issue of our time. Because thinking about John McCain’s pick for vice president is absolutely frightening to me. With John McCain turning 72 today, it’s stone cold comfort thinking about Sarah Palin being next in line. Obviously, McCain’s going for the babe factor to counter his geezer quotient. On that he scored. But it’s desperation on display....

Picking Sarah Palin to be Vice President is a victorious partnership for conservatives! Noting could be clearer. McCain showed us he knew what was at stake, and he demonstrated the judgment to fill the VP slot with an unapologetic, dyed in the wool conservative. Palin is a conservative for conservatives.
I wasn’t sure whether I was going to bother voting on November 4th. Now I will be proud to vote McCain Palin. Sarah Palin is the future of our party and the conservative movement!
