There must have been a lot of us who made our first donation yesterday. I sure did. Ordered some McCain-Palin bumper stickers too.
Frankly, I’d like to see the s.o.b.’s attack her for crying. The result might be a lot worse for the s.o.b.’s than was Cokie Roberts’ getting upset about the implication that Palin could not be a good mother and a candidate at the same time.
I donated last night and in the box where you put who referred you I put Sara Palin. I got some bumper stickers ordered also. I just wasn’t interested in a McCain sticker but Sara has got me motivated.
Mr. Smith comes to Washington
Exactly what I was thinking of.Who would have thought, after the Jimmy Stewart movie, that the sequel would be
Mrs. Smith comes to Washington!
Calling out the country club Republicans, the true elitists, as I did today has apparently touched some nerve because you're the second person to attack me. I don't think I need to quote Han Solo, do I? (But I can link to it.)
McCain choosing a conservative like Sarah Palin is a great thing because had he chosen someone like Tom Ridge or Christine Todd Whitman, there would be zero enthusiasm and you guys would be right about me considering sitting out the election. Now I'm in and looking to get a bumper sticker. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on that change in thinking. I still have a lot of issues with McCain but this choice makes a big difference.
But don't for a second try to tell me that the moderates in the party are thrilled with the prospect of a candidate who is strongly pro-life, pro-guns and small government. I think their excitement is that she's a woman and they'll live with her conservativism. For now. I don't believe they'd be excited at all had McCain chosen a strong conservative like Mike Pence or Tom Coburn whereas the conservatives would still be excited.
Now, I have to go have a discussion with that woman you believe agrees with everything I say. I'm sure she'll get a good laugh out of this.
Obambi even has gazotts???? Who would have suspected?

make your own, I’ve done it and they’re fast and easy.
Havent heard anything from Pelosi...wonder why that is.
>>>>>>>> You’ve been blessed that’s what.
Trust me she’s commented and you’ll just be without 20-30 seconds you could have otherwise had napping as opposed to knowing her comments.
Count me in as giving for the first time. In fact, my wife said Double it.
My sons in laws are staunch democrats and the sister of his mother in law was going to vote for obombo ,until she heard Palin ,add 1 more convert to the list
If your sitting out the election, get lost your no hero but a coward. This is a democracy and perhaps not perfect but people like you are losers and like being losers. Get lost!
Pray for W, Palin and our Troops
The liberal MSM will spew their Quayle like talking points, ignore reality and move on before there is time to debate the record.
No matter. So long as the base loves the pick, we jazz up the energy and get people supporting McCain *with spirit*, then we will see a win in November. There was an ‘energy gap’ and McCain has closed it.
Just this morning I was wondering what your take on the Palin pick was (then I took Monster Dog to the park).
Screwing up...yes, there is always that chance. However, I have also amended my decision to withhold support from Senator McCain. The way I see it, if his SCOTUS selections are as absolutely brilliant as his choice for veep, we're in great shape.
The msm is going to do their very best to bury (or at least trivialize) the amount of experience that Governor Palin has had. Paul Begala was actually spitting with fury on CNN last night at how "reckless" McCain's choice is...that, given his age and his history of cancer, it is the pinnacle of irresponsibility to leave the nation in the hands of someone so inexperienced. (I'm pretty sure he meant to say "in the hands of a conservative woman," but hey, I could be wrong.) Someone on the CNN panel tried to counter his argument and Begala blew apart, right up until the commercial break. There's going to be a lot of that.
I can't do much more than send the scant financial support that we are able to afford. Michigan is a lost cause for McCain, no matter how much Palin brings to the table. I'll be working extra hard on two US Congressional campaigns (Tim Walberg in MI 7, Mike Rogers in MI 8). My sincerest hope is that the choice of Palin will push the ticket from beyond its current statistical dead heat into the realm of a national win.
Eight points among registered voters and four points among likely voters — you call that a bounce? This magnificent lead is going to be reversed big time, maybe even before the convention speeches, thanks to the cosmically wise pick of Sara P. The Dems were predicting 15-20 points, now I don’t think they’d get that out of a poll of fraudulent voters or illegal aliens. They’ve even now starting their false, vicious, evil rumors about Palin which are going to backlash against them before they can press their “enter” buttons. I love the munching sound of Democrats eating out their livers!
Aside from grammatical challenges, you don’t read well. Try working on both before your next post to me.
Aside from your pompus attitude maybe you can understand this. If your not voting your opinion doesn’t mean anything. If your sitting out the election, do us a favor and start your protest now. Again, you aren’t voting so you have no right to complain now or then. So stand by your convictions and get lost.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Just to make it easy for you, I'll repeat what I wrote earlier:
McCain choosing a conservative like Sarah Palin is a great thing because had he chosen someone like Tom Ridge or Christine Todd Whitman, there would be zero enthusiasm and you guys would be right about me considering sitting out the election. Now I'm in and looking to get a bumper sticker. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on that change in thinking. I still have a lot of issues with McCain but this choice makes a big difference.
Maybe it's clear on the second read. If not, go for a third. Eventually the words Now I'm in will make sense and then you can find someone else to castigate about not voting.
“I still have a lot of issues with McCain but this choice makes a big difference.”
A lot of people are saying that. The genius of the palin selection is that he has added many things to the ticket with substacting anything. This ticket has something for everything, including and especially the base now. Kristol like McCain and WANTS HIM TO WIN. Thus he is happy about this pick because IT IS A WINNING PICK.

DITTOS. If you are going to waste time on FR posting but not spend the time to even vote, you are wasting everyone's time. By not voting, youve decided already to make sure your views dont matter so dont waste any time expressing them. Either Obama or McCain will be the President. Get on board Mccain/Palin bandwagon or get out of the way.
