"Palin's son Trig Paxon Van Palin was born prematurely. She and her husband Todd issued a statement saying they knew their fifth child would face "special challenges"—her office later confirmed that Trig had been born with Down syndrome and that the family felt "blessed."

Thats one fine woman, she has her priorities straight.

You've got that right! And the MSM hates her because she's an "outsider" and they don't want any "outsiders" in THEIR Washington. Sarah personifies "change" in Washington. Obama's "change" is nothing but lip service by the same old same old.

The youngest son of the next Vice-President of the United States is “Trig” and comes from the Norwegian word meaning “truth” or “brave victory.”
A strong name, not a stylish one.

Thanks, On another site some people were trashing their choices of baby names. They are weird, but I just chalked it up to them being from Alaska. Its good that the names have sound meaning.

Her husband is an Eskimo (or part inupiat, or “Native American”, or whatever) which may have influenced the name choices. Remember the old joke about the couple with children named “Moon Rising”, “Two Dogs Screwing” and “Broken Rubber”.

How tolerant and multi-culti of them.
