Personally I’d say you are looking at at LEAST a third of will vote McCain/Palin.

However the exact numbers don’t really matter, what matters is the decades of playing identity politics by the democrats is coming back to bite them on their butts.

I got to hand it to McCain, with this he gets at least a three fer.

Excepting experience, the most universally qualified candidate possible.

An honest gesture to conservatives.

An honest gesture to the religious right.

Confirmation of his Pro-Life position (not necessary).

demonstrating that there is no sexism in the REPUBLICAN party.

Let's see if McCain makes any changes in position shortly, like drill ANWAR and enforce the borders without reservation.

Operation Chaos coming full circle.

The executive experience Sarah Palin has as the VP on the ticket, is much more than the experience Obama has as the top of the Dem ticket.

In addition, Sarah's experience is all-American, pro-American, and proud American experience. Whereas Obama's is militantly anti-American as a community organizer, working in the Saul Alinsky method (ie. marxist) of "community" orgainization.

The beauty of this is that the D’s have to attack a woman now and not just any woman. They’re already doing it. They’re driving the spear in deeper all by themselves. This VP pick is gonna cause them no end of problems. I love it.

Ferraro is nuts, but we knew that already. Any Hillary supporters who vote for McCain will be doing so because pissed off at Obama and the Democratic Party for not making Hillary the Presidential nominee, and then not even giving her the VP spot as a consolation prize. Having Palin on the ticket is likely to make some of them who would have voted for McCain stay home altogether.

The Left is in a heavy trash day mode today.

But will they either be able to significantly tarnish her as we enter into a 3 day weekend or sustain the attacks from now until election day?

And they seems to be sending more women out than men to attack Palin.

I just talked to my conservative, thirty year old daughter. She was voting for McCain with ambivalence. Now it’s enthusiasm.

Media talking heads on MSNBC and CNN have already started to talk Palin down.

They didn’t listen when the Hillary Pantsuit Brigade complained about the media dissing Hillary and fawning over Obama.

If the media persists in this attitude (and they will) they will drive more and more disgruntled Hillary supporters to Sarah each time they appear to show disrespect.

Many longtime democrat females who have worked their way up in the party might not risk their liberal creds by speaking openly about splitting the ticket.
But when they get in the voting booth and close the curtain many will vote for Palin.

Geraldine Ferraro predicts many Hillary supporters will vote for Palin

... Predicted that as many as 1/3 of Hillary voters will switch to vote for McCain because Palin is his running mate. Indicates that millions of women feel Hillary was "left out to dry," never considered for Obama's VP.

Maybe yes, maybe no.

Let's not forget that your typical Dem *female*, let alone Hillary supporter, looks more like a Bag Woman or 'Jake The Plumber' than Gov Sarah Palin -- who just happens to be Babe-A-Licious hot. As such, Hill's Pants Suit Brigade may be turned off, or out right angry with Green Eyed Jealousy over Gov Palin's looks.

Then again, Gov Palin may pick up some single Male Dem voters. Those that aren't flaming gay anyway -- all five of 'em.

It sure didn't help Obama, that his people came out with their insulting remarks even before she was officially picked.

They reinforces Democratic women that Obama played the gender card on Hillary.
