Ferraro just interviewed by phone. Predicted that as many as 1/3 of Hillary voters will switch to vote for McCain because Palin is his running mate. Indicates that millions of women feel Hillary was "left out to dry," never considered for Obama's VP. Says anger at Obama not assuaged by DNC Convention platitudes...
I heard that interview and thought to myself that Ferraro herself might be one of those Dems voting for McCain/Palin.
The bashing of Palin at DU has quickly gone from spittle-flying hate to psychotic rage to unintelligable. LOL! They know they just lost the election!
She is a great pick! Her limited experience is frankly a plus in my book. First she's not beholden to anyone, she hasn't learned to compromise, and the moment the Obamaites mention it, they expose themselves to a ten-fold counter charge.
Wow!
Drill Here, Drill Now! Drill offshore. Drill ANWR.
Just breaking — Obama is asking for a redo or a do-over on VP picks.
Barak Who?
Who was that guy that gave that speech last night?
LMAO
Geraldine Ferraro was attacked by Obama’s goons a few months back for daring to be critical of him.
Methinks she looking for some payback.
This selection of Palin may energize the base and hold Republican losses in the House and Senate to a minimum.
Palin in her introductory speech mentioned Geraldine and Hillary.
Savy..
And when she ended the speech with RR's signature line, "...and God Bless America!" I shuddered.
Personally I’d say you are looking at at LEAST a third of will vote Palin.
However the exact numbers don’t really matter, what matters is the decades of playing identity politics by the democrats is coming back to bit them on their butts.
Um, I think they know that about her from the first. They always know who is prolife and who is pro'choice'. But many Hillaryvoters were not abortion zealots. They are not all NOW nags. The real pot of gold here is not just the angry PUMAs but the disaffected ones who were just going to stay home. They now have a reason to vote-- for a woman.

Excepting experience, the most universally qualified candidate possible.
An honest gesture to conservatives.
An honest gesture to the religious right.
Confirmation of his Pro-Life position (not necessary).
demonstrating that there is no sexism in the REPUBLICAN party.
Let's see if McCain makes any changes in position shortly, like drill ANWAR and enforce the borders without reservation.
The Dems are running scared and the shills over at Huffington Post are going nuts! They say the pick is insulting to women, but if McCain had picked a man that would have been insulting to them as well. They are trying to pick apart Palin with posts about how McCain just lost the race with this pick. They are so intellectually dishonest that they are using arguments against Palin that can be equally applied to Obama himself.
They are trully dillusional and running scared. I LOVE THIS! My wife has never seen me so happy about an election (granted she is 13 years younger than me and doesn’t remember Reagan.:P).
McCain just won the election.
After the way that the Obama campaign treated her I doubt seriously she'll be pulling the lever for the O man. She may not vote for McCain but she more than likely will not be voting for Bambi.
The executive experience Sarah Palin has as the VP on the ticket, is much more than the experience Obama has as the top of the Dem ticket.
In addition, Sarah's experience is all-American, pro-American, and proud American experience. Whereas Obama's is militantly anti-American as a community organizer, working in the Saul Alinsky method (ie. marxist) of "community" orgainization.
Maybe "Plugs" will, VERY SOON AND SUDDENLY, catch something in the "Teddy the Swimmer" illness range, making it "impossible" to do all the "heavy campaigning need for the dem 2008 VP.
You heard it here on FR first!!
It’s time for another hacker to break into a Dem website and say..”All your base belong to us”!
