There are tens of millions of them, the squishy moderates and fairly sane liberals who are nervous about Obama but desperately want to cast a "historic" vote this year. well by god we can give them that with Palin.

Well, I put “adults” in scare quotes. They are a few notches more politically astute than the Obama campaign folks.
Yeah, I think Hillary would have some cards to deal, along the lines of a call to Dims to back away from the far lefty edge and come’on home to the good ol’ days of a more ‘centrist’ and populist Clintonian party strategy. If the crazy lefties lose again with the Obamessiah - and I think the odds of a loss are getting stronger and stronger - there could be considerable blow-back from the DLC-types and urban bosses, who would gladly ditch the Soros and MoveOn crowd to play more to the traditional Dim blue collar and ethnic base.
And there’s another plane that landed there with Mitt Romney inside. We are all still being toyed with by both the MSM and the “new media”, even overnight, just prior to McCain’s formal announcement of who he has picked as his VP.

WOW, wow, WOW! She is a graduate of U of I! She is an amazing lady. The part on Wikipedia about her downs child is astounding and I got teary eyed. This is one heck of a lady and to think she is only 44—2 years older than I. She will make a fantastic VP choice for all sorts of reasons. She's got guns, religion to cling to in the upcoming fight against Obama and I think soon he is gonna find out just what those guns and religion can do to an opponent—lol. :-)

I love Mitt but I think he too sees the wisdom in going with Sarah this election cycle. If he wants he can always take her on in 2012. Mitt is a smart man and he will be a great asset and already has been to the McCain campaign. I think back stage there is a lot more political maneuvering going on than meets the eye for many of us. We may find Mitt has had a much larger input into the McCain campaign than we can imagine. Mitt and Rove and McCain and all the rest have aligned to beat the Dems in many different areanas. Just wait.
