Barack Hussein Obama's Washington DC attorney Robert Bauer of the Perkins Coie law firm demanded the Justice Department investigate the group putting on television advertisements showing the strong links between Barack Obama and William Ayers. Trouble is that a lawyer who treatens criminal prosecution solely to gain an advantage in a civil matter violates Rule 8.4(g) of the District of Columbia Rules of Professional Conduct: Rule 8.4Misconduct
It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to:.. (g) Seek or threaten to seek criminal charges or disciplinary charges solely to obtain an advantage in a civil matter.
Let's let the DC Bar know what we think of BHO's stormtrooper tactics. Please write to Office of Bar Counsel Board on Professional Responsibility District of Columbia Court of Appeals 515 Fifth Street NW Building A, Suite 117 Washington, DC 20001
This sounds like a wonderful idea! Thank you for suggesting this. :) Will write mine tomorrow morning!
Shut it down, he says. Guess the American public wasn’t buying the; “You’re [or they are] racist!” Next stop shut ‘em down with your lawyer buddies. This also explain to me why a relative that works for Perkins Coie is supporting OB, besides the fact that most liberal lawyers don’t actually look at facts . . . those small little details that get in their way of breeding more evil in the world.
I ain’t no lawyer, but it sounds like an interesting idea.
Well I guess you could try. But strictly speaking it applies to a situation where you are in a civil action (i.e., plaintiff/defendant) and you threaten the defendant, for example, that if they don’t do x you will expose, report, etc. the other party to some kind of criminal liability or complaint.
Obama’s legal stormtroopers have been let loose. Just a taste of “free speech” if the marxist Obama gets into office.
Really takes the word “Democratic” out of the Democratic Party.
Oh, will they also want DOJ to investigate George Soros? NOT!
Say hypothetically that ALL Americans held Conservative values. There wouldn’t be need of the vast quantity of Lawyers existing in America today.
Liberal “values” create a cornucopia of moral and legal premise requiring the vast litigious community we have.
Let’s face it, Liberals cost money. We have to be a wealthy Nation to support their lot.
Yes. I agree with you. Great points.
Ask your relative if they actually contributed their money to B. Hussein, or if Perkins Coie donated in their name. Perkins Coie provided comments to the FEC on bundling to get some rule changes.
