McCain is a liberal on free speech regulation, global warming and advocating open borders. On those things, he agrees with Obama 100%.

Did you notice they covered the “Temple” in streamers at the last minute to camouflage the “Templeness” look of it? You could barely see the columns..lol

I like this, but it is way too long and average folks attention span is a lot shorter.

Of course, I’m just an arm chair political strategist, but it seems to me that responding to each little detail of what Obama says is like letting him set the agenda for the whole cycle and getting Republicans to waste opportunity and limited resources chasing so many of these obsurd and ridiculous things he says. And he throws them out there like candy... things that are just simply impossible or absolutely cost prohibitive... like being completely off oil in 10 years. What’s he going to do accomplish this, buy everyone a hydrogen car?

It’s simply easier to point out that many assumptions people make about the Democratic Party are just simply untrue, and that these form the basis of most of Obama’s speech, excluding the parts about mom and apple pie. Anything else is just being dragged so deep down the Obama rabbit hole the focus on the things that really matter is lost.

I almost died of laughter when someone wanted to do all the research necessary to prove the inaccuracy of tire pressure gaff when really all it was was a line out the “Let them eat cake” energy policy, we want to save the planet play book. Paraphrased, Obama said the government isn’t standing in the way, we are because we can’t do what his party wants us to do and so we’re on our own. We are bad because we want cheaper gasoline for now, not the unafforable and practically unavailable alternatives. This is great if his vision is everyone living like the Almish, and forget getting to work. To Obama I say, if I wanted to live like that I would have already made that choice on my own.

I heard an audio byte of MJK a few days ago and it got me thinking about what kind of person he was, and how the whole essence of his speech on the mall is so completely ignored by the party that claims to stand up for African Americans everywhere.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

Democrats judge people by the color of their skin all the time, every day and every way. Character means nothing to them, just think about Chappaquiddick. If you listen to the LBJ tapes, you get the idea that the War on Poverty was meant for political advantage and was aimed straight at African Americans. It wasn’t meant to help anyone but limo libs stay in power. And that is what this is all about — Power. It isn’t about doing anything for anyone but Obama, the party front man, while the limo libs stay in power and stand behind the curtain pulling his strings. Really, why else would they have trounced all over Hillary when she basically had it in the bag.

As educated as Obama is, one would think he’d know about MLK’s political affiliation and the reasoning behind it, and be able to make sense of his words from the other side. He was actually a Republican, and was that way for a reason. Maybe I just give him too much credit for being able to reason things out, but I guess when one is being catipulted to the presidency in a whirlwind, anyone would be confused enough to miss the fact that they’re being used for their incredible ability to speak.

I am so impressed with McCain’s rapid response team. It looks like the dems were really expected Bush III in the way Bush never fought back! YAY!

I'm beginning to think McCain's Campaign Manager is the greatest political mind of the century.

Don’t kid yourself...his speach will energize his base. Within the next week, start monitoring car bumpers and count the number of stickers. His supporters have drunk the Kool-Aid and are now Obama zombies ready for a fight.

McCain Camp better make sure their VP pick will engerize our base... because its gloves off.

How about NOOBama

Has that already been done. Probably.

My favorite so far is

OBAMA
BIn laDEN where the OBAMA and BIDEN are large

like a bumper sticker and the n and la are tiny and subtle.

I was thinking of printing one out and putting it on my locker at work, but from a slight distance it looks like a regular OBAMA BIDEN endorsement.

Yes. I agree.

If anything , what we see is the tawdry aspect of what remains in political presentation when left wing radicals realize how unacceptable their ideology is to main stream America.

It was if the tawdy glitz was a leftist apology to America, an offering to obtain America's forgiveness for previous unbecomeing conduct on a wide range of issues, from the surge, to a disasterous non policy on energy.

Last night America took a bite of that bitter cookie, chewed on it, gagged, and spit it out into a naphkin in a mannerly way. The polls will reflect that.

Howard Dean, George Soros, and Barak Obama have traduced the Dem party, and laid the Dem party into bitter ruin. And the glitz can never make up for it, nor heal its bitterly infected running sores.

And somehow that "set designer" realized all of that. Very intersting. If he did, surely the rest of America has as well.
