Rasmussen has Obama up by only 1%....not good for the lefties.

Registered. Not very impressive considering the media circle jerk in Denver.

Has this occurred for other candidates during their conventions?

It was posted, but that’s okay. It’s a fast-moving news night.

I for one do not believe it. He will be behind after the media and liberals run out of ways to skew the results. They cannot lie forever.

" In the aftermath of the Democratic National Convention, the party's nominee, Michael S. Dukakis, has expanded his lead among registered voters over Vice President Bush, the probable Republican nominee, according to a Gallup Poll... Fifty-five percent of the 948 registered voters interviewed in the poll said they preferred to see Mr. Dukakis win the 1988 Presidential election, while 38 percent said they preferred to see Mr. Bush win."http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=940DEFD7113EF935A15754C0A96E948260

I’m surprised the Chosen One is below %50. That must be terrible for him.

Every candidate gets a bump after their convention, usually about 5-10 points.

I'm having a hard time believing Obama is beating Mccain by 6 percentage points. I don't trust any of the polls that are conducted by media organizations that work directly for the Obama campaign.

In order for Obama to get this bounce last nights polling would have been Obama 56% McCain 38%. Anybody who thinks those numbers are real needs some serious help. Including Gallup.
