Same deal with my EX step-daughter...except that it hasnt been as long. There are 3 'rules' that apply to her:
1. You cannot believe her.
2. You cannot trust her.
3. She doesnt care. (who she hurts or what she does, as long as she gets what she wants.)
I'm still waiting for the police to get enough evidence to do something about the $3K that she stole from my mother...
Theres NOTHING that you can do to change a sociopath, you can only get them out of your life.

I agree. Casey reminds me sooooo much of my late narcissistic sociopathic father. He lied as easily as he breathed, was so charming he was hypnotic, and literally got away with at least one murder.
