Do you have to be out much?

Morning, Kathy! Not too much, thank goodness. I walked to the chow hall (about a quarter of a mile) to get lunch a little while ago and it was pretty darn warm. My living quarters are about half a mile away. I walk here to work in the morning and walk back there after sundown in the evening. I make a point not to forget to bring anything in the mornings so I don't have to walk back over there in the heat of the day.

What can I say? It's Thursday and I can see the weekend coming. And, we're getting some much needed rain. I just wish I were home sitting on my couch with a cup of coffee in one hand and a book in another.

I'm going to make my rounds. I need to say my hellos and see what kind of music we have this morning. Then I need to finish up the time cards and then will have a refresher course I'll have to take care of this afternoon, so I'll be departing the Canteen around noon today and won't be back until tomorrow morning.

But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
