Can I nominate a tune instead of a song?
"Jessica" by the Allman Brothers. The world's most perfect road tune.

“Oak tree, you're in my way”...classic stuff. Also Joe South...”Don't It Make You Want To Go Home”...popular while I was doing BCT at Ft Knox and wanted to go home more than anyone can imagine.

I have liked Green Grass and High times by the Outlaws but lately I’ve been more inclined towards Amie by Pure Prairie League. And also most things by Heartsfield.
