Yeah, well... The staff of the AARP has been totally co-opted by left leaning Liberals. Without any polling of members, the AARP endorses every left-wing ballot measure and opposes every conservative ballot measure that ever appears on CA's statewide initiative process!!!

I guess for only $12 annual dues, that doesn't include having your membership polled before liberals imply you support some of this left-wing bogus thinking!!!

Send AARP mail back to them. When I receive a letter from these jerks I send back the postage paid envelope back to them EMPTY. Let em eat the postage!!!

Generally that’s true, but the liberal staff has even attacked measures that would have strengthened CA’s Prop 13 that specifically limits property taxes that usually hit Seniors harder than most others! So it’s not always true...

Empty? Don’t you realize they have to pay extra if the envelope is over a certain weight? I usually stuff other solicitations—minus my name and addy—into the envelope before sealing it and dropping it in the mail.

I turned 49 12 years ago I began receiving “Join AARP garbage. By the time I was 50, I was tired of trashing the AARP mailers, so I began tearing them up and sending them back to them in their pre-paid envelop with notice “remove me from your mailing list” After that didn’t work I decided to visit their DC headquarters and deliver my request in person. Fortunately, where I worked at the time was was only a block from AARP headquarters. I took a new letter and delivered it in person and spoke to one of their customer reps. I have not received a single piece of their trash since then.

11 years of AARP free mail deliveries!!!! Priceless

i read today that michelle’s salary at the u of chicago hospital went up almost $200,000 when her husband was elected to the u.s. senate.

questioned, the hospital said that her job responsibilities increased!

At only 75 I am not old enough to join hAAP. They are not a grass roots organization but a left wing money machine telling the walking brain dead what to think and to vote for every Marxist they can dredge up. Thir mission is to come up with scemes to fleece the producers of this once great county...

Funny, she was important enough to get a 200K raise when her husband got elected to the Senate, but they haven’t felt the need to fill the job since she left.
